Less travel charges
Vibe Productions, previously located in Goshen, Ind., has moved to Indianapolis in order to provide exceptional video to both Northern and Central Indiana. Being in Indianapolis allows us to film as far north as Michigan and as far south as Bloomington (where we will be this weekend for the Kirtley-Byington Wedding) without incurring travel charges to our customers. Travel charges for long distances are sometimes an unfortunate necessity. Due to the fact people generally don’t like paying extra travel costs, Vibe is trying to avoid them for more clients in more areas.
If you find us online or through a referral but feel we may be too far away to serve you please don’t hesitate to contact us!
Whitehead-Webb wedding in Goshen, Indiana
Vibe Productions filmed the Wedding of Brad and Jessica Webb this past weekend in Goshen, IN. Brad and Jessica live here in Indianapolis but returned to Goshen, our hometown as well, for their wedding. Their ceremony was at the First United Methodist Church downtown with the reception following at the Maplecrest Country Club, also in Goshen. We got some great shots of the wedding party on the golf course with Jeanne Allen and were later treated to an excellent dinner from Stephanie Downey and staff. It was a beautiful day altogether and a lot of fun! Check this blog later in the week for video from the day.
Two camera reception
Vibe Productions will be filming the wedding of Jessica Whitehead and Brad Webb in Goshen, IN. this weekend. The wedding will be at the First United Methodist Church with the reception following at Maple Crest Country Club. Brad & Jessica have upgraded their package to HD so we’ll be shooting and editing in High Definition (it’s always nice to see the outcome in HD). Lately we’ve been busy editing the Jackson-Wille wedding which we did the videography for Platinum on a couple weeks back in Mishawaka. The ceremony was at the Saint Monica Church right across from Kamm Island Park and Battell Park (both excellent places for outdoor shots). The reception followed at the Gillespie in South Bend and was a great time. Here’s a clip of the dancing, (this is an example of what our 2 cam reception looks like.
Affordable Wedding Video
There seems to be an unlimited amount of options and price ranges to go with when it comes to wedding planning. Don’t get frustrated or feel like you can’t have your dream wedding because of budget restrictions and the still recovering economy.. take a huge loan..just kidding!
It’s possible to have a beautiful wedding on just about any budget and the best part is you don’t have to do without things you want- especially don’t do without videography and photos as this will be your only visual proof and the best way to preserve your memories of the day. A wedding Vibe Productions filmed last summer was a good example of a beautiful wedding on a budget.
“Elizabeth and Mike both attend college in Chicago, but thoughts of a big city wedding faded fast with the economic reality. Elizabeth said that probably 75 percent of their 200 guests were directly affected in one way or another by the recession. An Elkhart wedding cut down on their travel costs and enabled her to get better deals for the wedding party. Bargain shopping landed the bridesmaids outfits, including jewelry and shoes, for about $90. The groomsmen bought suits for under $100 instead of renting expensive tuxedos. The caterer, rentals and cake all came from local businesses and the invitations were from Target. After finding just the right wedding dress in a Chicago boutique for $700, Elizabeth searched on eBay and bought the same dress, brand new with tags, for just $250
Questions on the Dance Floor
A question some couples ask themselves when planning for their wedding is “do we want a dj and dancing?” My response is of course! An important and fun part of any wedding we at Vibe Productions attend is the dance portion. Unless you have religious views that restrict dancing or the space won’t allow its a great way for you and guests to unwind and celebrate at the end of the day. Also it’s necessary to have a sound system for introducing the wedding party and playing music for atmosphere.
Of course there’s the question of $ for hiring a dj. If you can afford it do it, if you need to save however..here’s an option I’d suggest. Some dj’s will rent out a dj kit (sound board, speakers ect.) set it up for you and allow you to hook your ipod to the system. All you need then is a fun loving friend or a family member to take the place of a disk jockey by doing announcements and pushing play on the ipod at the right times. This obviously won’t be as smooth as having a pro on the job but you can still have an awesome reception get the job done cheaper!
Demo Reel
Hello, I wanted to post a bit on last weekend and give props to our recently updated demo reel with more samples and styles to look at. Vibe Productions offers a free demo DVD- so if you’re checking out our page and don’t have a high speed connection or would just like to watch the demos on a TV screen (the best way in my opinion) please request a free demo and we’ll send one to you.
Last weekend we shot another wedding with Platinum Productions and had a great time. The wedding was at St. Monica Parish in Mishawaka, IN. The reception was at The Gillespie Center in the Hilton Garden Inn, South Bend, IN. Merry Me Events was at this wedding as well and did a great job with all the reception planning and decor.
