Chloe + Michael’s Wedding Film | St. Mary’s College & The Armory

Chloe and Michael had a beautiful wedding day at St. Mary’s College where Chloe spent her undergraduate college years. It’s also where she met Michael who was attending Notre Dame at the time. As her father spoke at the wedding he mentioned that Chloe as a young girl actually told him all this would happen. Somewhere around Jr High she revealed her plan was to attend St. Mary’s for nursing, meet a Notre Dame boy, get married and be a nurse. If you have any doubt about the power of what you say Michael and Chloe’s love and story is the proof!

It was a beautiful wedding day from the excitement of getting ready through the thoughtful speeches and beautiful golden hour session at the Armory. The day was a dream and our team was there with them through it all! Thanks Mitch and Mary Kate for helping us capture the day.

A private estate wedding | Brian and Stacey married in Niles, Michigan

Brian and Stacey were married at their private estate in Niles, Michigan where there was more than enough room for the ceremony, reception tent and around 300 guests plus parking. It’s just so cool they made these memories at their own home where they plan to settle down and raise their family. They can someday point to their back yard and say hey kids that’s where mom and dad were married! Plus an added benefit of being at a personal rural residence is no restrictions, and no noise ordinances. This is especially good when you party into the late night with a band like BlammoBand followed by an epic 20 minute fireworks show!

Brian and Stacey incorporated things that were important to them. For example Brian started the day with an ice cold bath, and they incorporated red, white and blue colors and a saber arch to reflect Stacey’s background in the military. Merry Me Events helped personalize the day with fantastic floral and event design. But above all the design and planning one thing that really stood out to me was just the overwhelming love and support from all their family and friends. It’s really special when there’s a big group of 300 or so people but it feels like an intimate event. I think it just reflects this couple’s kindness and appreciation for the people in their life. Brian and Stacey, thanks for asking us to be part of your day and may God bless you with many happy years together!

A Beautiful Indianapolis Wedding Day | Emily & Alex

Emily and Alex pulled out all the stops for their Indianapolis wedding day! Their locations, St. John’s Cathedral, Daniel’s Vineyard and Hotel Indy were a fine fit for them. As an Indianapolis Wedding Videographer I am lucky to visit so many venues. The day is so influenced by the venues the couple chooses. Whether it’s an all in one experience or there’s 2 to 3 different locations. Getting a single venue that fits you is one thing but getting the best combination of multiple venues is another thing altogether. I’ll say Emily and Alex chose well.

I captured Emily and Alex in the artsy post modern Hotel Indy getting ready in the morning then it was a short skip and jump over to St. John’s Cathedral for their first meeting and ceremony. St John’s makes the perfect backdrop for a traditional catholic – big city style of wedding day. I love the warm luxurious look of the cathedral. From there we left town with a quick stop at the War Memorial for photos to the lovely Daniel’s Vineyard for dinner and dancing at their reception! We had a blast filming their love and taking part in their beautiful celebration!

Allison and Tommy | Married at the Basilica of Notre Dame

It was a beautiful wedding day on the campus of Notre Dame for Allison and Tommy to celebrate with family and friends!

Allison and Tommy’s enthusiasm for their wedding and one another can’t be put down into words or summed up on video. But if you watch just a few minutes you’ll see what I mean. They had the best day together and we loved being part of it with them. I love the way Allison & Tommy let the day come to them and just loved, laughed and celebrated together the whole way through. From the getting ready to saying their wedding vows and taking pictures in the rain they were present in and celebrated every moment.

And celebrate we did! Allison and Tommy put the spark in their party — go to the end of the film during the reception scenes to see what I mean. 🙂 They lit up the floor together and danced the night away with family and friends to the music of Patrick Lentz Entertainment.

Their wedding day was full of joy and love, and I’m excited to share their film with you on the blog today. Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Emmet!!

It’s a love story, baby, just say “Yes”!! | Brian & Kelly’s love story

We had a blast filming for Brian and Kelly on their picture perfect wedding day at Notre Dame. The day began with Brian and his groomsmen getting prepped and dressed for success at the Morris Inn on campus. We didn’t have to go far to find Kelly and her gals also getting ready at the Morris. There was no shortage of champagne toasts and laughs for this crew. Kelly’s mom and dad, Dan and Colleen were a big part of the morning for her. Kelly’s mom helped her stay calm and get dressed while her dad kept the champagne flowing (from a giant 3L bottle) and the party going!

There was an amazing energy in the room that all began with Kelly and spilled over. She was just so happy and full of joy for the day!  This energy led into a raw karaoke version of “Love Story” by Taylor Swift which I was lucky to capture and include in the short film. As an opportunistic filmmaker I love unique wedding day moments. They’re wonderful and should be celebrated!

The whole day was full of beautiful happy moments. From the first look outside in the snow through the ceremony, photos on a very cold campus and ending with an epic dance party at the Morris Inn. Our very best to the new couple. I hope you enjoy reliving all the beautiful, happy moments from your picture perfect wedding day for many years to come!!

Alex & Stephanie’s Perfect December Wedding Day

It was a perfect December Wedding day for Stephanie and Alex at Holy Cross Church and Palais Royal in South Bend, IN. It was cold for sure but what’s a winter wedding celebration without a little chill!

The day began at the DoubleTree downtown getting hair and makeup done. Stephanie and her ladies were great to work with. Alex’s groomsmen also banded together to support him getting ready over at Holy Cross Church. Alex and Stephanie wrote and read really sweet notes to one another which we incorporated into the film. Stephanie arrived at the church where she shared a touching first look with her dad. This followed shortly thereafter by their traditional catholic wedding ceremony. Once Alex and Stephanie said their I do’s we trucked off to Notre Dame campus with Cat Alkire Photography for wedding party and couple portraits. The light was incredible on campus. It was so sweet it felt like we were in a studio filming models. Between the light and Stephanie and Alex looking super great we got amazing results!

If this all weren’t enough we headed to The Palais for a beautiful evening of dinner and dancing to finish out the perfect December Wedding day. Our best to the new Mr. and Mrs!
