I just don’t have the words after listening to and editing the speeches from Anna and John’s wedding. Anna’s mother, John’s dad and their other family and friends delivered some beautiful heartfelt toasts. Most of which I didn’t have time to include in the highlights. But all of which were wonderful and are included in their full length documentary. There’s just something really special about a wedding speech that comes from the heart. And they all did for Anna and John. In fact I challenge you to watch this film and not get misty eyed at Lisa’s remarks for her daughter. I must warn you though if you’re feeling a little extra emotional maybe grab a Kleenex or two because it may bring you to tears! Yes there are packets of those specially for weddings 🙂
Anna’s grandfather also officiated a beautiful ceremony that culminated with the hilarious “ok that’s enough” after the first kiss. It was also pretty dang sweet to witness Ana and her grandfather’s first look. I heard him whisper during their first look “I’m nervous” to which Anna replied “but you’ve preached many weddings right”? He replied “yes but it’s different when you get to marry your granddaughter”. Super sweet, but if granddad was still nervous during the actual ceremony we couldn’t tell. It very beautiful and went off without a hitch.
Another highlight for me was filming the interaction between John and Anna’s brother. They enjoyed some bonding time horsing around and sparring before the ceremony. This was really indicative of the ease with which everyone had with us which helped make our time a blast! So I’d like to say thanks to the bride and groom for being so easy to work with. And a huge thank you to MOB Lisa for doing an amazing job planning and pulling off a beautiful wedding in the midst of a pandemic. And for generously hosting us there.
Cheers to Anna and John, we hope you all enjoy the film!
We’re happy to share Carrie and Mark’s Wedding Film! It took a lot to keep their date and wedding plans intact during the pandemic but they pulled it off! From large last minute changes like a new wedding venue to small adjustments such as seating arrangements and elbows rather than handshakes they made it work and made the best of every minute! Like Carrie said “I don’t want to put off getting married any more. Now more than ever I realize how important it is to spend time with the people we love. ” What a beautiful take away from all this. Congrats Carrie and Mark!
Wow, what a wedding and what a couple! We got to know Joe and Natasha through friends we filmed for nearly five years ago, Amanda & Greg. It was great to see Amanda and Greg and their growing family at the event. They were both standing up in the wedding and their little boy was a ring bearer!
I met Joe and Natasha almost a year before their wedding at a Starbucks in Castleton Square. It didn’t take long to realize they had a beautiful chemistry together and their wedding day would just as lovely. Natasha had a clear vision for what her day would be and I could tell Joe was on the ball with her during the planning! Being in December their wedding had that Christmas in winter feel by incorporating lots of whites plus candles and warm tones which gave the grand hall at Historic Union Station a gorgeous glow. Working with these two was an absolute joy! We wish them all best!

Vows, Rings, Dresses and Flowers. These are some of the elements that make up a wedding day. There of course are many many more details for your average bride and groom to consider and this is why the words “wedding planning” sometimes bring with them some level of stress! But the most crucial element and one that shouldn’t bring too much stress I believe is the love that binds. Without that love all the other elements seem pretty pointless don’t they? Although every detail of Matt and Lauren’s day was skillfully accounted for resulting in a beautiful ceremony and reception at the Omni their love for one another seemed to shine the brightest! From tears when they saw each other for the first time to the kindness they showed one another throughout the day they clearly made one another the priority. So engaged couples when you’re working hard on your wedding lists and start to get some stress don’t forget to take some time to keep your relationship healthy because that’s the key to your best day!
