Caitlin & Ryan had a beautiful Muncie, Indiana wedding day. Telling their original love story was a matter of putting the pieces together from speeches and from their own words that they wrote to one another. One common thread through the stories was that Ryan knew the first time he saw Caitlin that she would be his wife one day. He even said this aloud to his friend at that moment, wow! Maybe Caitlin wasn’t as sure as Ryan was right out the gate. But she was soon to realize she had found Mr. right and the rest.. after several years of dating was history!
I loved all the speeches and although I don’t usually include the groom thank you speech in the highlights film Ryan’s speech was special. I like that he didn’t feel the need to thank Caitlin’s parents for the wedding. What he did thank them for is more important. That’s how they raised their daughter and for accepting him into their family as a son-in-law. Hosting a wedding is a huge gift of resources. But raising a child to enable them as a healthy adult and a blessing to their spouse is more important than financing. Then giving your child to that spouse is the greatest gift.
Hiring a wedding videographer is important, and we have written about it many times! But we believe hiring the videographer who knows how to tell your story is even more crucial. We know how fast the day goes by and in the end you want to remember it through the eyes of an expert storyteller that you can trust! And I’m so glad Ryan and Caitlin trusted us to expertly tell their wedding story. So congrats Ryan and Caitlin on your beautiful Muncie, Indiana wedding day. We loved filming for you at The Loft and wish you many happy years!
What should you expect with a gorgeous couple, great family and beautiful locations? A gorgeous Wedding Day of course! There were many things that made Maggie & Mike’s day extra special but when I asked Maggie the bride for special insights she replied. “A couple things that were special was having my grandma’s rosary beads wrapped around my bouquet (she passed away in January) and my mom’s wedding gloves around the bouquet. Also, the weather was supposed to be 100% chance of storms all week and it turned out to be the most beautiful day- 70s and sunny!”
Well we couldn’t have been any happier to film on a beautiful 70’s and sunny day and had a blast working with the couple. The ceremony was at St. Pius X Catholic Church in Granger and Reception at one of our favorites the Morris Park Country Club. Check out this Short Film!

Places matter to us as we move through the journey of life. It’s amazing how places can shape who we are and leave such an impact on our memory. I think the biggest reason for this is because of the people we encounter in those places. Sarah and Justin met on the campus of Notre Dame while they both attended undergrad together, got engaged on campus and fittingly enough said “I do” on the same campus some 6 and half years after first meeting! So to say the university has special place in their hearts and life is by far understatement!
From the getting ready at Morris Inn to the ceremony at the Basilica and following reception at Dahnke Ballroom. It was a day filled with beauty and so much joy. I wish many years of life, love and happiness for Sarah and Justin together!!
Caitlin and Jason contacted me about a year prior to their wedding and were very excited to book their date with me. They were also happy to tell me about their venue choice. They were among the first couple’s to book White Willow Farms in Arcadia, IN. They did so while it was still under construction so couldn’t see what it would actually look like but they had the vision and that’s all they needed! Needless to say the venue turned out amazing and was the perfect place to host their wedding. We loved the barn’s whitewashed walls and ceilings offset by the natural wood supporting beams. Not to mention ample getting ready space for the bride and groom and their party to hang out.
Due to Caitlin’s meticulous planning everything went beautifully! And we took advantage of their cream white umbrellas to do photos/video using them as props. It was a real joy working with Jason and Caitlin, they were so easygoing and nice to be around. I wish them many happy years together!
