Lauren and Jordan truly are a match made in heaven! But poor Jordan he had to ask Lauren out three times! Fortunately, on the last time she accepted his invitation. Persistence is key indeed. Lauren said she had seen the signs they were meant to be and although she was hesitant at first she knew right away that Jordan was the one for her.
We love love stories. Sometimes the path is very clear and a couple just knows like Lauren and Jordan did. Other times it’s not so clear and that confidence comes through testing and time. Either way when it’s meant to be it’s meant to be. And with Lauren and Jordan it’s easy to see it was meant to be.
the wedding day
We began the day filming at Lauren’s parents beautiful home in South Bend, IN. It was fantastic seeing all the Wade family again (since Andrea and Garrett’s wedding) and getting covered in Champagne during the girls impromptu champagne toast wasn’t too bad either. After Jordan and his friends finished getting ready at nearby at the Aloft hotel. We witnessed a beautiful first look outdoors by the pool and sped off to the ceremony! Lauren and Jordan incorporated their faith into their ceremony with communion and a cord braiding moment. Said their wedding vows, kissed and that was that. It was reception time at the Palais Royale and the party went down. We were so fortunate to witness this match made in heaven!
Whether it’s easy or difficult I believe all couples will face challenging times in their courtship when they must dig deep and recon with the prospect they are choosing a partner for life. That’s pretty stressful! So kudos to all our amazing engaged and married couples who stuck it out through the courtship, engagement, wedding planning and marriage process. Your dedication to one another, faith and love is inspiring. If you’re reading this and facing uncertainty or indecision I would encourage you to look to God for help!

There’s not a better match than to marry your best friend. This is one key sentiment that Patrick and Jennifer expressed to one another on their wedding day. That they found and married their best friend in the other.
There’s also not much better than a joyful bride on her wedding day. Fully happy and confident with the choice she has made! And also full of hope and excitement for the future that awaits her and her spouse. This got me thinking why is it that a bride should feel this way? I think it says a lot about the partner she chose. He’s made her feel confident in his love for her, and is a great compliment to her. Additionally she knows he will cherish and protect her all of their days. It’s evident that Patrick has the same joy in marrying Jennifer. And why is that? It must also come from his confidence in choosing the right partner. He knows in Jennifer he has found that one who will love and cherish him all his days.
Their wedding day was lovely. From getting ready at the Embassy Suites to the ceremony at The Basilica and the reception at Morris Park Country Club it was a day full of much beauty, joy and love. Our best to the new Mr. and Mrs Loughery. Thank you Patrick and Jennifer for choosing us to tell your story. We’re so glad you could marry your best friend and we’re excited for what your future holds!
It was a beautiful day for Carly and Nick’s wedding at Mavris Arts and Events Center in Indianapolis, IN. I’ve filmed at the The Mavris several times before but I’d never seen the space so fully used as I did for Carly and Nick’s wedding. In all there were 4 floor location changes throughout the day all within the venue. Ceremony was on the 1st floor. Cocktail hour on the third floor. The grand entrance and speeches on the 2nd followed by dinner with three unique serving stations. And last but maybe most incredible an epic baby gender reveal, and a raging dance party back on the 3rd floor!
Back up to the ceremony. It was hosted on the first floor which is normally the lobby. I wasn’t fully sure how that would work at first but it was absolutely great. There’s actually more space for the guests, an elegant stairwell for the bride’s entrance and plenty of what makes the Mavris shine, original wood and brick surfaces. Their ceremony was great. Carly and Nick said their vows and pledged devotion to one another from the heart. The minister joked it’s usually the bride who cries from being overcome with emotion but in their case it was Nick. It’s really cool to see a groom confident enough to share his feelings and so passionate about his bride. I’m happy we were there to capture it all for them.
All this came together smoothly for an awesome wedding at Mavris Arts and many amazing memories for the bride and groom, their family and friends. Check out their wedding day story!
Megan and Bob were married in South Bend Indiana at the historic St. Joseph Church by Rev. Matt Fase. They hosted their wedding reception just down the road at the lovely Palais Royale Ballroom, also in South Bend. Both locations were really perfect for their day. With close proximity to the one another and the city of South Bend it made commuting a snap. We were also in walking distance to the St. Joseph River and had some great views there for photos. The Palais is in my opinion one of the most elegant ballrooms in the city and didn’t fail to impress for Megan and Bob. With beautiful white, yellow and gold tones, pin lighting, and floral arrangements it looked amazing. I’ve had a wonderful history filming at the Palais in past years. The Wedding Day
We began the day getting ready in Megan’s beautiful family home. Lots of natural light for details and makeup with the talented Stephanie Jean were key. Following were the couples heartfelt vows at the church. Speeches by maid of honor and best man and Megan’s fathers hilarious speech. He candidly portrayed the similarities he and Bob shared which helped them get along well. I actually overheard him joke with Bob as he handed off Megan that he would touch his nose during the ceremony if Bob’s team scored, lol.
After all this they packed the dance floor with family and friends for their rocking wedding reception. This lovely evening was made possible by the efforts of many including: event planning by the bride! Room lighting by Pro-Show, catering & coordinating for the reception was Navarre catering, floral arrangements by Poppies By Polly, photography by Kirsten Wray. Cinematography by Vibe Video Productions. Entertainment was provided by the amazing and energizing My Yellow Rickshaw Band
