I was recently hired by Eli Lilly and Company’s German affiliate to record a video message from a Bloomington IU Professor and Chemist for a celebratory event they are having in Germany regarding a particular drug he invented. Although there was a horrendous storm going on while we were recording It turned out great!
This past weekend Vibe Productions filmed for Chelsey & Steven on the campus of Indiana University Bloomington. Chelsey and Steven are both recent graduates from IU, and are opening their own Chiropractic practice here in Indianapolis, Ind. With many friends and memories at IU they wanted to have their wedding on campus and did so in the Beck Chapel. The chapel was really neat and very cozy seating only about 5o people.
After the ceremony we followed a limo around college town to a couple of Chelsey and Steven’s favorite locations getting some great video shots in the process. This was the first wedding we’ve had the chance to work with our new Canon 5dmkii. It’s really amazing to see the video that comes out of that camera. We filmed select scenes with the canon especially in the dark chapel that look amazing. The rest of the day we filmed with our ever trusty Sony FX1 and FX7 in HD which do an amazing job as well.
The reception was at the Fields Clubhouse also in Bloomington, Ind. The clubhouse was made with rustic post and beam construction and is covered floor to ceiling with wood. We had a great meal and were able to film lots of great dancing and plenty of crazy interviews with friends of the couple! After the DJ called it a night the wedding party moved out to the lobby and continued the party with a live band. Steven and Chelsey know how to throw a great party.
Thanks Steven & Chelsey for including us in your special day and Larry (father of groom) for having us out! Best wishes for your future.
This past weekend Vibe Productions had the chance to film freelance for a wedding in Bloomington, Ind. The ceremony was at St. Paul Catholic Center and the reception at the lovely Showers Inn Bed and Breakfast. The Showers Inn is the recently renovated home of the former James D. Showers, founder of the historic Showers Furniture company in Bloomington. Upon arriving at the Inn it was really neat to see the space unfold. You walk in the door on the corner of 9th and North Walnut Street, go out the back, into a large enclosed garden area with the wedding tent in another attached space. None of which you can see from the road. The atmosphere was great and contributing to that atmosphere was a great irish band (the groom was from Ireland) called Ennis Clare. Here’s a clip from the cocktail hour.
Vibe Productions, previously located in Goshen, Ind., has moved to Indianapolis in order to provide exceptional video to both Northern and Central Indiana. Being in Indianapolis allows us to film as far north as Michigan and as far south as Bloomington (where we will be this weekend for the Kirtley-Byington Wedding) without incurring travel charges to our customers. Travel charges for long distances are sometimes an unfortunate necessity. Due to the fact people generally don’t like paying extra travel costs, Vibe is trying to avoid them for more clients in more areas.
