It’s hard to believe but Erica and Greg were high school sweethearts married after some nine years dating! They met in high school, attended Notre Dame together, graduated and began their careers together. All while maintaining a healthy relationship and deferring marriage until the time was right. Wow, that’s incredible!
I can’t imagine waiting 9 years to get married but due to shutdowns they had to wait even longer than planned. Their wedding was planned for spring and got postponed to late summer. fortunately we were free on their new date and could still film for them. Then just two weeks before their new wedding date the venue they were planning to host at had a big scare and mandatory lockdown go in effect. This left their wedding venue and guest hotel shuttered just two weeks prior to the event. Whelp, what terrible timing! But they didn’t give up and went to work on planning for the 3rd time!
With only 8 days to go before the wedding Erica’s mother aka (rockstar) wedding planner went into high gear searching out and booking a new venue. This included updates with vendors. Changing the lighting, food service, flowers and room design. Not to mention updating all the guests to accommodations! The university event professionals were so gracious and so helpful as always through it all. They assisted with free transportation and other services to help facilitate Erica and Greg’s location switch.
It was all such a big and challenging process Erica’s dad got emotional during his speech thanking the vendors. To which he quipped he’s probably the first fob to cry while thanking the vendor teams 🙂 Long story short Erica and Greg were able to have their day and hosted a really breathtaking wedding at Gillespie conference center. If you’re looking at the venue check out this other great film we did there for Molly & Jake!
We couldn’t have been more happy to be there for Erica & Greg to see their day unfold. It was a privilege to create a beautiful film to describe their wedding day. Congrats to you Erica and Greg you’ve come along way, from high school sweethearts to married professionals. We celebrate you guys!
Janine and Jeff were a very welcoming and energetic couple to work with. They had a brisk and slightly overcast day which was awesome as nothing brings out the lore of Notre Dame quite like overcast weather on a cool day. After the ceremony we were granted access to the stadium and went out on the field to get everyone into a 3 point stance for pics! It was then on to the reception at the Hilton Garden Gillespie Center which was expertly designed and coordinated by Cher and Richelle of MerryMeEvents. If you’re looking for an excellent planning company for your Indianapolis event they’re top notch! Our best to the couple and their future!
Vibe Productions will be filming the wedding of Jessica Whitehead and Brad Webb in Goshen, IN. this weekend. The wedding will be at the First United Methodist Church with the reception following at Maple Crest Country Club. Brad & Jessica have upgraded their package to HD so we’ll be shooting and editing in High Definition (it’s always nice to see the outcome in HD). Lately we’ve been busy editing the Jackson-Wille wedding which we did the videography for Platinum on a couple weeks back in Mishawaka. The ceremony was at the Saint Monica Church right across from Kamm Island Park and Battell Park (both excellent places for outdoor shots). The reception followed at the Hilton Garden Inn in South Bend and was a great time. Here’s a clip of the dancing, (this is an example of what our 2 cam reception looks like.)
Hello, I wanted to post a bit on last weekend and give props to our recently updated demo reel with more samples and styles to look at. Vibe Productions offers a free demo DVD- so if your checking out our page and don’t have a high speed connection or would just like to watch the demos on a TV screen (the best way in my opinion) please request a free demo and we’ll send one to you.
