Wedding Day at The Basilica of the Sacred Heart and St. Joe Farm

David and Lizzy’s wedding at The Basilica and St. Joe Farm was in just a few words fun, beautiful, and heartwarming. We had a fun filled morning together with the couple getting ready and reading letters. Then we all knocked out some wedding party formals with Cat Alkire Photography (ladies with Lizzie and gentlemen with David) on campus with before Lizzy would see David for the first time at the Basilica.

The vibe of the wedding party was next level! They were all excited to be there and ready to show their love and support for David and Lizzie. I don’t think I’ve had a more engaged, hype team wedding party this year. And that says a lot about this couple. Not only does their friend group love them but it means they’re excited about their new union.

All in all, a beautiful wedding day with huge love and support for the couple. What began with getting ready and a captivating ceremony at the Basilica of the Sacred Heart at Notre Dame. Was wrapped up with a lively reception celebration at St. Joseph’s Farm in Granger. Our best to the new Mr. & Mrs. Connelly!

Elegant Notre Dame Wedding Day for Katherine and Kevin

I can’t say enough about Katherine and Kevin and their elegant Notre Dame wedding day. They’re two extraordinary people full of character and charisma. They have a very easygoing genuine love for one another and it shows.

The wedding day started at Morris Inn on campus and continued with a lovely Basilica wedding mass and reception at the Stadium in Downes Ballroom. Nothing on their wedding day was overly embellished. It was elegant, white and classic with accents of green and gold. Their best day was full of laughs, hugs and affirmation from family and friends.

Our best to the new couple as they navigate the joys and challenges of married life together!

St. Mary’s College & The Armory Wedding Film | Chloe & Michael

Chloe and Michael had a beautiful wedding day at St. Mary’s College where Chloe spent her undergraduate college years. It’s here where she met Michael who was attending Notre Dame at the time. According to her father in his welcome speech at their wedding Chloe was very determined and goal oriented.  He said that as a young girl Chloe actually told him all this would happen! She revealed her plan was to attend St. Mary’s for undergrad nursing. Meet a Notre Dame boy, get married and be a nurse. If you have any doubt about the power of your positive confession look no further! I’d say Michael and Chloe’s love and story is the proof.

It was a beautiful wedding day from the excitement of getting ready through the ceremony at St. Mary’s College in South Bend. There were many beautiful tables for guests at their reception at the Armory. The day was a dream and our team was there with them through it all! Thanks Mitch and Mary Kate for helping us capture the day.

A private estate wedding | Married in Niles, Michigan

Brian and Stacey were married at their private estate wedding in Niles, Michigan. The really neat thing about it was it was their own home! They own a 20 acre farm with a nice house so there was more than enough room for the getting ready, ceremony, reception tent and parking for 300 guests. It’s just so cool they made these memories at their own home where they plan to settle down and raise their family. They can someday point to their back yard and say hey kids that’s where mom and dad were married! Plus an added benefit of being at a personal rural residence is no restrictions, and no noise ordinances. This is especially good when you party into the late night with a band like BlammoBand followed by an epic 20 minute fireworks show!

Brian and Stacey incorporated things that were important to them. For example Brian started the day with an ice cold bath. I was cold just watching him. They incorporated red, white and blue colors and a saber arch to reflect Stacey’s background in the military. Merry Me Events helped personalize the day with fantastic floral and event design. But above all the design and planning one thing that really stood out to us was just the overwhelming love and support from all their family and friends. It’s really special when there’s a big group of 300 or so people but it still feels like an intimate event. I think it just reflects this couple’s kindness and appreciation for the people in their life. Brian and Stacey, thanks for asking us to be part of your day and may God bless you with many happy years together!

Beautiful Indianapolis Wedding | Filmed at St. John’s and Daniel’s Vineyard

Emily and Alex pulled out all the stops for their Indianapolis wedding day! Their locations, St. John’s Cathedral, and Daniel’s Vineyard were a fine fit for them. As an Indianapolis Wedding Videographer I am lucky to visit so many venues. The day is so influenced by the venues the couple chooses. Whether it’s an all in one experience or there’s 2 to 3 different locations. Getting a single venue that fits you is one thing but getting the best combination of multiple venues is another thing altogether. I’ll say Emily and Alex chose well.

I captured Emily and Alex in the artsy post modern Hotel Indy getting ready in the morning then it was a short skip and jump over to St. John’s Cathedral for their first meeting and ceremony. St John’s makes the perfect backdrop for a traditional catholic – big city style of wedding day. I love the warm luxurious look of the cathedral. From there we left town with a quick stop at the War Memorial for photos to the lovely Daniel’s Vineyard for dinner and dancing at their reception! We had a blast filming their love and taking part in their beautiful celebration!

Enthusiasm for Marriage! | Married at the Basilica of the Sacred Heart in Notre Dame, IN

It was a beautiful wedding day on the campus of Notre Dame for Allison and Tommy to showcase their enthusiasm for marriage and to celebrate with family and friends!

Allison and Tommy’s enthusiasm for their marriage and one another can’t be put down into words or summed up on video. But if you watch just a few minutes you’ll see what I mean. They had the best day together and we loved being part of it with them. I love the way Allison & Tommy let the day come to them and just loved, laughed and celebrated together the whole way through. From the getting ready to saying their wedding vows and taking pictures in the rain they were present in and celebrated every moment.

And celebrate we did! Allison and Tommy put the spark in their party — go to the end of the film during the reception scenes to see what I mean. 🙂 They lit up the floor together and danced the night away with family and friends to the music of Patrick Lentz Entertainment.

Their wedding day was full of joy and love, and I’m excited to share their film with you on the blog today. Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Emmet!! Looking for wedding video for your Notre Dame wedding? Contact us today.
