Several years ago I filmed for Anne’s sister Leigh and her husband Nate on their wedding day and what an epic day it was. Needless to say I was thrilled when Anne’s mother requested our services again for Anne and Matthew’s wedding. They’re such an amazing, genuine and good looking couple! As their dad said for both sisters he knows how to build beautiful daughters who in turn bring amazing son-in-law’s into the family!
We started the day with the ladies getting ready at the bride’s family home while the guys got prepped at the ceremony location – First Presbyterian Church in Niles, MI. The reception was hosted by VenueND at Downes Ballroom in Notre Dame Stadium.
Our crew Zarah and Sam did an awesome job filming. I’m actually jealous they got to have all the fun shooting as I was filming a previous engagement but I’m proud to have taken part as editor in chief! Thanks again Anne and Matthew, we hope you enjoy your Wedding Film as much as we did making it. Now check out their Trailer and Feature Film!
We couldn’t have asked for a better start to our 2018 season than filming for Erin and Matt. What a fine and handsome couple! The campus of Notre Dame is such a great place to film. Although I’ve done videography there many times I find something new and exciting every time.. pretty incredible. Added to all that the weather was amazing for a March wedding. I should know, I was married in March and endured rain and sleet while ducking under an umbrella to get photos. But it was nothing but sunshine and warm weather vibes for Erin and Matt! We toured the ND campus with the talented Katie Whitcomb Photography having a blast and doing awesome videography along the way. All in all it was a fantastic day capped off by their reception at the exquisite Morris Inn on campus. Our best to the new couple!

I consider myself to be an opportunistic filmmaker. When I arrived to Notre Dame’s campus where Sunni and Tyler were getting ready for their wedding around 8 a.m. I jumped out of the car along the road to capture the snow falling on Notre Dame Blvd. Along my short walk to the Morris Inn I stopped to film other key features on campus. I am always blown away by how beautiful the campus is but it was especially beautiful this winter morning. Putting the beautiful campus aside, the real stars of the show were Tyler and Sunni. Their natural beauty and great camera awareness made it impossible to get a bad shot! It was a privilege to work with them and we wish them the best in their life together!
Janine and Jeff were a very welcoming and energetic couple to work with. They had a brisk and slightly overcast day which was awesome as nothing brings out the lore of Notre Dame quite like overcast weather on a cool day. After the ceremony we were granted access to the stadium and went out on the field to get everyone into a 3 point stance for pics! It was then on to the reception at the Hilton Garden Gillespie Center which was expertly designed and coordinated by Cher and Richelle of MerryMeEvents. If you’re looking for an excellent planning company for your Indianapolis event they’re top notch! Our best to the couple and their future!
