Caitlin & Ryan have a beautiful story of how they met and fell in love. Telling their story was a matter of putting the pieces together from speeches and from their own words that they wrote to one another. One common thread through the stories was that Ryan knew the first time he saw Caitlin that she would be his wife one day. He even said this aloud to his friend at that moment, wow! Maybe Caitlin wasn’t as sure as Ryan was right out the gate. But she was soon to realize she had found Mr. right and the rest.. after several years of dating was history!
I loved all the speeches and although I don’t usually include the groom thank you speech in the highlights film Ryan’s speech was special. I like that he didn’t feel the need to thank Caitlin’s parents for the wedding. What he did thank them for is how they raised their daughter and for accepting him into their family as a son-in-law. Hosting a wedding is a huge gift of resources however raising a child in a way that will enable them as a healthy adult and a blessing to their spouse then giving them to that spouse is the greatest gift.
Hiring a wedding videographer is important, but we believe hiring the videographer who knows how to tell your story is even better. We know how fast the day goes by and in the end you want to remember it through the eyes of an expert storyteller that you can trust!
Brandon and Amelia hosted their wedding event outdoors in November at Tabor Hill Winery in Buchanan, Michigan. It was a perfect day for a winter wedding with a little snow on the ground but clear skies and not too cool. Amelia, her family and co-workers with Burns Rentals did an amazing job designing and furnishing the event. We were honored to be part of their celebration!

I think charming and delightful is a good way to describe Claire and Andrew and their wedding day! Claire wanted an intimate sized wedding for close family and friends with an easygoing vibe which their space Fort Harrison provided. When we arrived they were staying in cozy side by side guest houses on the campus which were actually renovated captains houses. The grounds and gazebo were perfect for their ceremony and the reception hall at the Inn fit everyone comfortably for dinner. Their vendors were all very accommodating. We enjoyed working with the banquet facility, 2to1 photography and PBJ Pro DJ throughout the day. From the grounds of the Park to the amazing sunset photo session everything came together perfectly to create the most beautiful experience for them! Take a minute to check out their short film!!
One thing we love is outdoor weddings in the summer. I’ve always thought the sights the sounds of nature really enrich the wedding experience, whether it’s being outside the whole day or just going out for a few pictures. That certainly was the case for Emily and Steve who hosted their wedding at Gable Hill Barn in Marcellus, Michigan. It was a beautiful day for a beautiful couple who it’s clear are deeply loved by the many friends and family who came out to support them on their wedding day. Thanks for filming Mitch and Mary. Our best to the newlyweds!
