This was our first Gatsby themed wedding and did it deliver! The location, dress and design all made for an inspiring theme on which to build this fun, 1920’s themed wedding film.

 

Valerie and Reece met in November 2024 while she was on a work trip at the U.S. embassy in Ghana. After parting ways, they followed up making plans and meeting in London, Rome, and DC over the next few months. In 2025, Reece proposed to Valerie at St. Adalbert’s Catholic Church, where her parents and grandparents were married, and they decided to elope at the courthouse the next day. After eloping, they celebrated with a small group at the South Bend Chocolate Cafe with cake and sandwiches, to which Valerie noted, “this can’t be all we do.” So, they decided to plan a wedding after they moved back to the U.S. Reece and Valerie planned a beautiful 20’s themed wedding at the Palais Royale in South Bend, IN. It was important to them to say their vows in front of cherished friends and family! Palais Royale was a perfect choice of venue for their theme. It’s a historic venue that has been restored to it’s near original Gatsby era luster. It was a joy to help them celebrate by capturing their day on film to cherish forever!
