An unforgettable Notre Dame Wedding Day | Marisa & Matt
Marisa and Matt said their vows at The Basilica of Notre Dame on an unforgettable Notre Dame wedding day in October. They met and fell in love during their undergrad at Notre Dame so it’s only appropriate that they married there too. The day began for us much like many wedding days do. Taking video of the couple as they prepared at their hotel. There was one small difference. All over campus wherever you went there were Secret Service agents dressed in black with earpieces. Come to find out this was part of President Biden’s security detail. He was coming to Notre Dame that day for a wedding just after Marisa and Matt’s in the Basilica.
Although it sounds cool, this was a point of frustration for many. Frustration because with officers in the background, helicopters overhead, and curious onlookers just hanging out it took some effort to get the shots we wanted. But we did get amazing footage of the wedding and couple!
Frustrations aside I think all the excitement added to the day. As the presidential motorcade drove away the president and First Lady waved to Marisa and Matt from their car! It made for unforgettable memories for the couple, guests and all us involved. I mean how many couples can say something like that happened during their wedding day?
The reception was hosted at the Palais Royale with cocktails in the Morris Theatre lobby. The ballroom was beautifully decorated with gold, green and white. After heartfelt words from loved ones it was time for possibly the most memorable event of the day, Marisa and Matt’s first dance! They are both incredible dancers and lit up the floor with a routine and moves like we’ve not seen before. Check out the sights and sounds from their day!
Baby Just Say Yes! A Picture Perfect Wedding at Notre Dame
We had a blast filming for Brian and Kelly on their picture perfect wedding day at Notre Dame. The day began with Brian and his groomsmen getting prepped and dressed for success at the Morris Inn on campus. We didn’t have to go far to find Kelly and her gals also getting ready at the Morris. There was no shortage of champagne toasts and laughs for this crew. Kelly’s mom and dad, Dan and Colleen were a big part of the morning for her. Kelly’s mom helped her stay calm and get dressed while her dad kept the champagne flowing (from a giant 3L bottle) and the party going!
There was an amazing energy in the room that all began with Kelly and spilled over. She was just so happy and full of joy for the day! Â This energy led into a raw karaoke version of “Love Story” by Taylor Swift which I was lucky to capture and include in the short film. As an opportunistic filmmaker I love unique wedding day moments. They’re wonderful and should be celebrated!
The whole day was full of beautiful happy moments. From the first look outside in the snow through the ceremony, photos on a very cold campus and ending with an epic dance party at their reception at Morris Inn. Our very best to the new couple. I hope you enjoy reliving all the beautiful, happy moments from your picture perfect wedding day for many years to come!!

Wedding Day at The Brick in South Bend | Tyler and Kelly
Kelly contacted me early on about her August wedding. The wedding was to be at her family church St. Anthony De Padua and at The Brick in South Bend, IN. I was excited to hear she had been looking forward to having me film her wedding since recording her sister’s wedding video several years ago! It’s not very often we get to shoot video for multiple weddings from within the same family but this has been the case with the Powell family from Andy and Katie to Kelly and Tyler! I love being invited back to film as it’s great to see familiar faces and it’s a true sign of appreciation.
Kelly and Tyler met through Kelly’s aunt Martha. They had a interesting and beautiful first weekend together so eloquently spelled out by Kelly’s sisters in their speech. I would try to describe the events but you will just have to hear it!
The Brick is one of our favorite venues in South Bend, Indiana. It’s appropriately named as it’s constructed of brick inside and out! It has a warm inviting feel and hosts large and medium scale events and it fit their day very well. Kelly and Tyler, it was a privilege to film the beauty of your wedding day and see you let loose and enjoy yourselves as the day unfolded. The two of you are an incredible couple. Thank you for having us tell the story of your day. Congratulations!

The Moments That Matter | Jessica & John
We had the most beautiful weekend celebrating Jessica and John!
Their wedding was the perfect blend of traditional elegance and contemporary design, but what made the day truly special was the two people we all came for.
Jessica is the kind of bride who is simply the life of the party. She isn’t caught up in every little wedding trend or detail. Instead, she’s focused on what really matters — enjoying her friends, celebrating with her new husband, and soaking in every moment. She doesn’t fuss over the small things, but somehow gets all the important things just right.
John is the groom who lovingly supports his bride every step of the way, is detail oriented and very well put together. He has a way of making everyone he meets feel instantly welcome.
We absolutely loved working with these two and their lively wedding party. The whole weekend from the Rehearsal at Foley’s in the Notre Dame stadium to the wedding day was filled with so many genuine, heartwarming moments, but there’s one I know I’ll always remember.
When Jessica saw her dad for the first time that day, he had to dig deep to keep it together. His strategy? Telling himself, “It’s time to man up!” But even then, he could barely look at his daughter. It was such a special moment between them. We were privileged to capture it.
Jessica and John also wrote the most beautiful love letters to each other and read them aloud at the grotto. As Jessica was wrapping up her letter, the rain (which had held off all day) started coming down. We quickly hustled everyone under the grotto, where John was able to finish the moment reading his letter to Jessica.
Jessica and John, thank you for letting us be part of such a beautiful celebration. We loved every minute of your day!
A Garden-Chic Wedding with Timeless Black-Tie Elegance at Saint Mary’s College
Some weddings have a way of feeling effortlessly timeless, and Taylor & Domenic’s celebration was exactly that. Blending the romance of an elegant garden party with the sophistication of a classic black-tie affair, every detail of their wedding day at Saint Mary’s College created an unforgettable experience for everyone in attendance.
From the moment guests arrived, they were welcomed into a setting that felt both refined and inviting. Soft, lush white florals transformed the tent space into a romantic vibe, creating the perfect backdrop for a day centered on love, family, and celebration. Every arrangement added to the ethereal atmosphere, making it feel as though the couple had stepped into a dream.
Their ceremony in Le Mans Hall was filled with joy and heartfelt vows. It was a beautiful reminder that while stunning details make a wedding memorable, it’s the genuine connection between two people that makes the day truly unforgettable. As the celebration continued, guests gathered beneath a reception tent on the front lawn. Warm soft lights created a magical ambiance that carried seamlessly from cocktail hour into an evening of dining, dancing, and joyful celebration. Champagne glasses clinked as loved ones shared heartfelt toasts, honoring the newlyweds and the exciting journey ahead. Taylor & Domenic’s wedding was the perfect balance of classic elegance and romantic charm. From the lush floral designs and glowing reception tent to the heartfelt moments shared with family and friends, every part of their celebration reflected who they are as a couple. It was a day filled with beauty, laughter, and love—a timeless beginning to a lifetime together.
Their wedding came to life thanks to an incredibly talented team of wedding professionals including our own cinema team Mitch Jacki and Eli Kean. If you’re planning your own celebration, be sure to check out these amazing vendors who made every detail so beautiful.

Maggie & John’s Notre Dame Wedding | A Day Full of Heart and Celebration
It was a beautiful wedding celebration at Notre Dame for Maggie and John. These two are the kind of couple who make you feel like you’ve known them longer than you have. From the moment we met them, their authenticity and easygoing nature made documenting their wedding day a joy.
They were completely on board with sitting down for an interview, and rather than scripting anything, we simply let the conversation unfold naturally. Their heartfelt stories and authentic connection really helped with getting comfortable on camera and set the stage for their wedding film.
Their wedding party also deserves a special shoutout. They embraced every candid moment we threw their way, bringing incredible energy, laughter, and personality to the day. Those spontaneous interactions helped create a film that feels as vibrant and joyful as the celebration itself.
The day took place at the University of Notre Dame, where Maggie and John both attended as undergraduates. Their love story began the fall after they finished college, including a season of long-distance dating, making their return to campus to exchange vows even more significant. It was a beautiful full-circle moment, celebrating in the place where it all began.
Following the ceremony, guests gathered for a lively cocktail hour in the Morris performing arts lobby before heading to the iconic Palais Royale for the reception. The dance floor stayed packed all evening thanks to the incredible entertainment from Bluewater Kings Band, creating the perfect ending to a day filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories.
It was an honor to capture Maggie and John’s story, and we’re so grateful to have been a small part of such a meaningful celebration!
An Unforgettable Wedding Celebration at the University of Notre Dame
Some weddings are beautiful. Others are unforgettable. This celebration at the University of Notre Dame was both. These elements and more helped make Sheridan and Matthews wedding film a masterpiece, if I do say so myself!
From the very beginning, it was clear that every detail had been thoughtfully planned. The couple envisioned a day that was elegant, meaningful, and filled with unforgettable experiences for everyone who attended. They spared no expense in bringing that vision to life, creating a celebration that perfectly balanced their vision with the realities of hosting a wedding day.
The iconic architecture and picturesque grounds of Notre Dame provided an incredible backdrop for every part of the day. From fun getting ready moments shared between the couple and their wedding party to the excitement of celebrating alongside family and friends, every scene reflected not only the beauty of the venue but also the love these two share.
One of our favorite parts of documenting weddings is seeing how each celebration takes on its own personality. As the evening unfolded, the formal elegance of the ceremony gave way to an incredible dance party where the band hit all the right notes and brought the energy. The guests filled the dance floor and celebrated late into the night. The energy in the room was contagious, and it was the perfect way to end such an extraordinary day.
We stayed until the very end to capture the couple’s grand farewell as they waved goodbye to their family and friends before beginning their next chapter together. Those final moments perfectly summed up the day—a celebration filled with love, laughter, and memories that will last a lifetime.
It was an honor to preserve this incredible wedding story. To Sheridan and Matthew, thank you for trusting us to capture every moment. We wish you both a lifetime of happiness, adventure, and love.

Haleigh and Daniel’s romantic wedding celebration at Notre Dame | Wedding Film
We were honored to be part of Haleigh and Daniel’s romantic Notre Dame wedding celebration this spring. The day could not have been more lovely—a crisp spring morning with tulips in full bloom and the campus bursting with color and life.
It was especially meaningful for us to be back with the Hogan family. Three years ago, we had the privilege of filming Daniel’s sister Allison’s wedding (video here), and this time she stood beside her brother as a bridesmaid. Being invited back to capture another chapter of their family’s story made the day even more special.
Every detail of the celebration reflected Haleigh and Daniel’s thoughtful planning and creativity. From the carefully curated dĂ©cor to the personal touches woven throughout the day, their personalities shined in every aspect of the wedding. One particularly meaningful detail was the artwork created by Haleigh’s sister, who designed much of the custom artwork featured on the invitations and guest seating chart, adding a unique and personal touch to the celebration.
We loved documenting the joy, emotion, and beauty of Haleigh and Daniel’s wedding day and are excited to share their film.
A Perfect Wedding Day for Lauren and Ethan at Notre Dame!
The perfect wedding day for Lauren and Ethan began at the Morris Inn on the campus of Notre Dame, where the wedding party was getting dressed and prepared. It was here we interviewed the bride and groom to capture their emotions leading up to the ceremony. I love doing interviews as a way to help the couple process what they feel at a pivotal moment in their lives. Both of them were very excited to see each other at the church for the first time and to exchange their vows. After the ceremony, we accompanied the couple around campus for photos and video. During this time, they opened a bottle of champagne, adding a fun touch to the celebration! Following the photo session, we headed to the Palais Royale in South Bend for the reception. It was a beautiful conclusion to a perfect day of festivities for the couple!
