Am I a wedding hero? Lol sometimes I get the chance to feel like it. It all started with a worried phone call from Jame’s mother. She was scrambling due to a last minute cancellation to find a videographer for her son and daughter in law Jasmine’s wedding. I was sorry to hear about the unfortunate situation they were in but I was really happy to help in a pinch. In fact it turned out I knew James the groom from our high school days and I was excited to make the connection with their family.
So we began to make plans. From talking with the mob, the mog (that’s mother of the groom) and James & Jasmine as they were traveling home for their wedding. Yes, it was that close! We got the details sorted out. James and Jasmine were very easygoing about the whole thing despite their plans suddenly changing which I was really impressed by and grateful for.
It didn’t take long to realize that Jasmine and James are a very special much loved couple. They’re also models and fitness guru’s! Check out their site James and Jazz. Getting great looking footage wasn’t hard when working with these two and let me tell you they look fierce together!
Their wedding ceremony at Nappanee Missionary Church was beautiful with special songs, a sand ceremony, heartfelt vows and a moving message by their minister. One thing we noticed is they made time for the things that were important to them about their day. And they made certain to take the time to look around and take it all in throughout the day. I think it’s great when a couple is in the moment. Well enough blogging now check out the real wedding heroes!
To say Laura & Glenn’s Wedding at Industry 828 was exceptional would be an understatement. Weddings as lovely usually don’t come easy. Laura and Glenn’s wedding seemed like an easy composite of their favorite things. All grounded by love, great design, and lots fun on Laura and Glenn’s part!
Their day, ceremony and reception all took place at Industry 828 Events Center in the historic Industrial center of Indianapolis, Ind. The venue provided plenty of space for their guests. The venue has a cool industrial vibe with lots of exposed brick and natural light for getting ready and photos. Industry also comes with easy access to the city of Indy for pictures and video.
If you watch Laura and Glenn interact for more than a few minutes you can tell they’re great together. The ease with which they communicate is on point. You also recognize the trust between them and just an easy enjoyment being together. This all came out so well during video and photos on their wedding day. Don’t take my word for it though. Check out their film and see all the moments that create the tapestry of their love story!!
It’s not very often we get to shoot video for multiple weddings from within the same family but this was the case with Kelly and Tyler!
Kelly contacted me early on about her August wedding day. I was excited to hear she had been looking forward to having me film her wedding since seeing her sisters video several years ago!
Kelly and Tyler, it was a privilege to film the beauty of your wedding day and see you let loose and enjoy yourselves as the day unfolded. The two of you are a beautiful couple. Thank you for having us tell the story of your day. Congratulations!
It was a pleasure getting to know Alicia and Paul during our pre-planning process and working with them on their wedding day. The day was a wonderful expression of their love and shared experiences. From their personal vows to the gigantic apple fritter wedding cake (from their favorite bakery) these personal touches really helped make the day special. We can’t fail to mention, Paul being a talented composer wrote and recorded the song you’ll hear for Alicia. Amazing yes?
