Erica and Greg had a bumpy road to their wedding day thanks to circumstances beyond their control. First off their wedding got postponed, fortunately for us we were free on their new date and could still film for them. After rescheduling their date the University had a mandatory lockdown go into effect and had to shut down their reception venue and hotel just two weeks prior to the event! The university event professionals were so gracious and so helpful as always with providing transportation and other free services to help facilitate their switch to a new venue format. However with only 8 days to go before the wedding Erica’s mother aka (rockstar) wedding planner went into high gear searching out and booking a new venue. Keep in mind this includes updates from vendors to change the lighting, food service, flowers and room dressing, not to mention updating all the guests to a new hotel! Long story short they were able to pull it all off and hosted a really breathtaking wedding. Funny story during the FOB speech Erica’s dad got emotional when thanking the vendors and quipped he’s probably the first dad ever to cry at a wedding while talking about the vendor team!
We couldn’t have been more happy to be there for them to see their day unfold and to create a beautiful film to describe their wedding day. Cheers to you Eric and Greg, we love you guys!
It’s not very often we get to shoot video for multiple weddings from within the same family but this was the case with Kelly and Tyler!
Kelly contacted me early on about her August wedding day. I was excited to hear she had been looking forward to having me film her wedding since seeing her sisters video several years ago!
Kelly and Tyler, it was a privilege to film the beauty of your wedding day and see you let loose and enjoy yourselves as the day unfolded. The two of you are a beautiful couple. Thank you for having us tell the story of your day. Congratulations!
I love how Sandy & Amir’s priest put it when he called the tools to a successful marriage “the old fashioned stuff.” That pretty much says it and I’m confident these guys have that old fashioned stuff.
Sandy and Amir had a beautiful wedding day on the campus of Notre Dame which was fitting as Amir’s father had a strong connection with the University and Amir himself is an alumni. The couple was a pleasure to work with and their elegance made filming them easy. It was also great working with Katie Whitcomb photography again and seeing Emma & Larry who we filmed for last summer with Emma being a bridesmaid this time!
Best of luck to the couple. Go Irish!!
Nick and Jessica had a fantastic day in Northern Indiana. Their ceremony was at Christ the King Church in South Bend with photos at St. Mary’s College campus and the reception following at the nearby Hilton Garden Inn. A couple times during the day it started sprinkling and we’d all run for cover but the rain always cleared allowing us enough time for beautiful sunny/rainy cinematography. We had a great time working with Nick and Jessica and Joan of Josephiney Photography. Many Congrats!
