Rosemary and Greg hosted their fairytale wedding day at the University of Notre Dame where they both attended school. The day began with Rosemary getting ready fine tuning all the details hair, make up etc. Rosemary and her ladies had an awesome chill attitude and enjoyed all the moments and laughs with the cameras rolling. After Rosemary’s first look with her dad we scuttled over to the Basilica to get some coverage of the main man (and groom) Greg and prep for the ceremony. There wasn’t much time to get shots in the Basilica due to the current restrictions in place but we work at the Basilica often and have an efficient routine to get ready there so we did our best and got great looks with Greg! As Greg and Rosemary met one another singing in the choir at ND they wanted to make a nod to that by singing a song on campus with other member of their wedding party and friends who were also in choir. They sang at the Grotto on campus and we were right there to record it all. It was a beautiful moment and a perfect, emotive score to begin their film with. So kudos to the couple for trying something a bit different on their wedding day and for doing a beautiful job with it!! Check out their short film.

It was sweet to kick off the year with Catherine and Conor at their wedding in South Bend. The weather was cool and cloudy and the light was perfect but they didn’t need help from the amazing sunlight to look great. They’re a beautiful couple!
The reception was full of amazing speeches but one thing Catherine’s father said really moved the room. “What do Conor and I have in common? 37 years ago I was standing at the alter of the Basilica waiting for those two medieval doors to open and I saw a vision. I saw a vision of strength, grace, intelligence with a smile as wide as the Mississippi and a heart and soul that are stronger. And from that day to this nothin changed. Conor three hours ago you saw the exact same thing. And because that apple didn’t fall far from that tree we have a bond that will never be broken.”

Here at Vibrant Productions we take pride in discovering the unique characteristics of every couple who commission us and highlighting this in their film. For Jessie and Chris I believe it’s their ability to have fun and to attract people to themselves. From our experience we could tell they have many fun and genuine friends. So many in fact they filled the Basilica at Notre Dame all the way to the back rows and jam packed the dance floor at Palais Royal. Not to mention the fun we had filming their super sized wedding party with Jessica Strickland Photography on the field at Notre Dame Stadium. So here’s to Jessie and Chris, two awesome fellow Fighting Irish fans. Cheers!

It’s not all the time you meet a couple who are as likable as John and Gina. They’re both very genuine, good hearted people. These characteristics which have no doubt served them well as individuals will surely make for a very successful marriage going forward.
The day got rolling with John, Gina and their party getting ready at the Doubletree Hotel in South Bend. John presented Gina with a beautiful pearl necklace and a surprise reveal of their honeymoon destination. Gina presented John with a beautiful pocket watch and her mother and father with traditional hankies to dry their tears. Gina joked the Old wives’ tail goes “if you catch one of the Bride’s tears with the hanky, your crops will be grow and be watered.”
For the ceremonies Gina and John said their vows in the Basilica and partied afterward at the beautiful Palais Royale.
We wish Gina and John the best that life has to offer!
