I just don’t have the words after listening to and editing the speeches from Anna and John’s wedding. Anna’s mother, John’s dad and their other family and friends delivered some beautiful heartfelt toasts. Most of which I didn’t have time to include in the highlights. But all of which were wonderful and are included in their full length documentary. There’s just something really special about a wedding speech that comes from the heart. And they all did for Anna and John. In fact I challenge you to watch this film and not get misty eyed at Lisa’s remarks for her daughter. I must warn you though if you’re feeling a little extra emotional maybe grab a Kleenex or two because it may bring you to tears! Yes there are packets of those specially for weddings 🙂

Anna’s grandfather also officiated a beautiful ceremony that culminated with the hilarious “ok that’s enough” after the first kiss. It was also pretty dang sweet to witness Ana and her grandfather’s first look. I heard him whisper during their first look “I’m nervous” to which Anna replied “but you’ve preached many weddings right”? He replied “yes but it’s different when you get to marry your granddaughter”. Super sweet, but if granddad was still nervous during the actual ceremony we couldn’t tell. It very beautiful and went off without a hitch.

Another highlight for me was filming the interaction between John and Anna’s brother. They enjoyed some bonding time horsing around and sparring before the ceremony. This was really indicative of the ease with which everyone had with us which helped make our time a blast! So I’d like to say thanks to the bride and groom for being so easy to work with. And a huge thank you to MOB Lisa for doing an amazing job planning and pulling off a beautiful wedding in the midst of a pandemic. And for generously hosting us there.

Cheers to Anna and John, we hope you all enjoy the film!
