With all the elements of a show stopping wedding day Molly & Pete’s wedding was the toast of the town! There were a lot of moving parts with a giant, fun wedding party and several locations but Indy Gigz did an amazing job of coordinating the multi-site event and it went off without a glitch.
We started the day filming Molly and Pete and their bridesmaids and groomsmen getting ready at The Alexander Hotel (guys) and the Omni Hotel (ladies). Molly gifted Pete with an amazing Omega watch and he gave her a second diamond ring!
The wedding ceremony was beautiful and hosted at Indianapolis Central Library in the historic Simon Reading Room. Followed by their equally beautiful reception at the nearby Scottish Rite Cathedral.

It was a beautiful day.. We started by filming Brittany, her bridesmaids and Nate getting dressed up at the Mavris. After there were many special events including Brittany’s first looks with her bridesmaids, her father and with Nate! There were letters, gifts and hugs exchanged that were amazing to film. I’d say Brittany and Nate outdid themselves! After the bride and groom first look we went to the Indiana War Memorial for candid photos. It was the kind of swelter outside you’d come to expect in an Indianapolis summer but Brittany and Nate rocked the heat wave like champs and made some beautiful memories through it all. All in all a very fine day at the Mavris! Check out their day and story as told through our lens.
Stacey and Taylor had a beautiful, wistful wedding day at the Indiana State Museum. We love weddings at the ISM. It’s a unique location right on the Canal Walk with fantastic photo opportunities and amazing views of Indianapolis. The grounds are especially great on a nice day when there’s people walking, running, paddle-boating or bicycle riding. That kinetic energy between people, nature and space creates an almost magical atmosphere. The kind which I think embodies the spirit of a wedding. Maybe a way to describe it is like stepping into the scene from (La Grande Jatte by Georges Seurat) one of my favorite paintings 🙂
Well enough from me, check out this sweet couples wedding film!!
It’s always humbling when couples like our work and entrust us to film their wedding event. In Sarah and Brian’s case, it was an even bigger honor because Sarah herself is a wedding videographer! Let’s just say that may have added a little pressure. 😉 I believe we exceeded expectations thanks to Sarah and Brian both being superstars to work with. I hope to never take for granted how special it is to capture such special moments like at Sarah and Brian’s wedding. It was filled with beauty, pure joy, and a lot of soul. It was also a blast working alongside the talented Sinikka of Soul Creations Photography and hearing the soulful, rich sounds of Brother Smith Band. Our best to Sarah and Brian, may God richly bless your marriage!
