George and Nicole had to wait an extra year to celebrate their wedding day due to 2020 but their persistence paid off! It was a beautiful day for them at St. Joe Farm in Granger. It was sunny and warm and the barn looked amazing with a constellation of lanterns hung in the center by the Events by Proshow team. George and Nicole chose to have both their ceremony and reception at the farm. Their ceremony was on site under the “tree of life” on the west side of the barn. The tree and surrounding structure created a scenic background for their vows and was just a short walk from where the cocktail hour was.
Post ceremony we walked around the campus getting shots with the couple and their awesome wedding party! It seems like there’s an endless amount of photo spots on the farm and you really can’t pick a bad one. Their planner Beth McHugh had George and Nicole ring the dinner bells from the loft and call their guests in for dinner. After cocktails everyone was ready to celebrate and happy to enter the conditioned space! We had an excellent dinner by Navarre Catering and enjoyed the dancing and toasts that followed.
Every time I edit a wedding video it takes me on a journey through the wedding day and also through the story of the couple which led them to that day. Meredith and Bobby’s story is beautifully told through the words of friends, families, and themselves but also by things unsaid like the fun they have being together.
One of our goals in creating excellent wedding films is portraying the love and life that lies ahead for our couples in marriage. The best thing is the love story doesn’t end with their wedding day but is only just beginning. Our best to Bobby and Meredith as they write their story and chase their dreams together. And many thanks to our talented team Zarah and Sam for filming the day. Check this sweet wedding film!
Heather and Ryan’s wedding was our second time working with the Anderson family in as many years. Which is great because they’re fantastic people and so are the O’Shea’s from Ryan’s side! It’s always cool to see two great families come together with a single purpose to support and celebrate the new couple.
Heather and Ryan were a joy to work with. We started the day with them getting ready at the historic colonial style Kownover Farmstead in Granger, Indiana. Their ceremony was at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and we ended the day on a high note with great speeches and dancing at The Blue Heron at Blackthorn in South Bend, Indiana. Our best to the new couple!
We had a fantastic time at Molly and Jordan’s wedding. The day went super smooth and before we knew it we were following the cow limo to the reception! There we were blown away by the beautiful design done by Martha (Molly’s Mother) and the event planner Beth. I don’t want to know how they got lighting to hang from the ceiling some 30′ up but it looked nice. History lesson: the farm was built in 1867, as a food producing venue for the rapidly growing Notre Dame University and was used for over 100 years to that end! All in all it was family and friends having fun and sharing hilarious speeches that made the day special for Molly, Jordan and their guests. Well enough said, check out their highlights film!
