Oh the urgency of love! We were so happy to share Carrie and Mark’s Wedding Film. It took a lot for them to keep their wedding plans intact during the pandemic but they pulled it off! Carrie and Mark were our first clients back from the extended shut down. Their wedding was early in June when no one really knew what was going on in the pandemic. And there was no definitely no road map for hosting a wedding in a pandemic. When the whole world was hiding inside from fear and there wasn’t even any mask wearing yet because no-one knew about that. Pretty much all my weddings that year had been postponed and I was just looking at my schedule like really? Carrie and Mark haven’t postponed? Wow! I emailed to be sure and yes they were getting married!

It was uncharted territory but God gave us all courage and showed us the way. From large last minute changes like a new wedding venue to small adjustments such as seating arrangements and elbows rather than handshakes they made it work. The best part is they made the best of every minute! Carrie said “now that I’ve found the one I love I don’t want to put off getting married any longer. Now more than ever I realize how important it is to spend time with the people we love. ”

The biggest take away for me is I was really struck by the beauty of Carrie’s words. We should all be impacted by the urgency of love. Don’t put off until tomorrow the chance to love. What a beautiful take away from all this. Congrats Carrie and Mark!
