The Big Deal!

When my assistant and I arrived at 3 Fat Labs event barn we were greeted by the groom Jalen. He let us know we were kind of a big deal for their wedding day. We were like “awesome”! and soon Audrey the bride reaffirmed this by letting us know we were a top priority for her! It was really special to know they cared this much about our work. Apparently we came highly referred from another couple we filmed for Carli and Colin This couple had a similar style wedding at their family home in Greencastle area. Sometimes video isn’t deemed very important which is a shame so it’s extra nice to be highly esteemed as was the case here.

Amazing Couple!

Audrey and Jalen were the sweetest couple to work with. Every aspect of their day had been lovingly considered. Their planner and event designer Audra of Hearts Arrow Events executed the plan perfectly. The mood was fun, light, natural and had a romantic charm.

The Venue!

Three Fat Labs Wedding and Event Barn in Greencastle, Indiana hosted the event. Have I mentioned we love barn weddings? Where else can you roll in, meet the property owner first thing and check out the wood smoker cooking and get a first hand account of how the property was built? At 3 Fat Labs the main event space is a beautiful handmade barn set on 30 private acres of woods. Fun fact, the structures are made from timber harvested on the property itself. The property also includes a bed and breakfast which can be rented by the wedding guests. Also on site is a separate bride’s cottage. It was here in the bride cottage we filmed Audrey getting her hair and makeup finished. Meanwhile Jalen and his guys were hanging out and getting ready in the basement of the event barn.

The ceremony took place on site behind the barn on a patio looking over the woods. The evening was filled with speeches and dancing at their reception. All in all the sights and sounds of the day were absolutely beautiful. Take a few minutes to enjoy their film and relive the day with us!
