It was great partying with Colleen and Dan and their party band Standing Room Only. We were proud to record every moment of their amazing wedding weekend. To say Dan and Colleen know how to throw a party would be an understatement. They left no stone unturned from the Rehearsal dinner at the Exchange in South Bend to the Basilica and Palais Royale reception.

Dan and Colleen were married at the Basilica of the Sacred Heart on the campus of Notre Dame, IN.  After the ceremony the campus served as a backdrop for gorgeous candid shots taken along with the talented Josephiney Photography. Family is very important to Colleen and Dan, and they were active participants in the wedding day. Colleen’s sisters had double duty co-maids of honor and Dan’s sister was also in the wedding party. Both Dan and Colleen’s dads gave eloquent speeches at the rehearsal dinner and reception respectively.

I’ve found that good wedding bands are hard to come by. Unlike in other wedding categories there aren’t as many newcomers. And just because a band was good at one time doesn’t mean they always will be. Things change that affect their quality including band ownership, age, singers and musicians. That being said many decent party bands do often last the test of time. If you’re searching for a wedding band take a look at this one! We’ve worked with them several times and have been impressed. The reception was at the Palais Royale. The grand venue was perfect for the large group of guests plus the band for dancing.
