We’re excited to share this informational video from the ISES Indiana luncheon at a venue formerly known as the Willows. The event was a social networking function highlighting Indy Urban Acres. It was awesome working with the talented team of fellow ILEA members who put this event together. After drinks and a fantastic meal in the lodge Tyler Gough from Indy Urban Acres presented his compelling views. The message being that no children in America should lack food and go hungry. And that children can be educated to raise and eat fresh organic foods which helps them fight food insecurity. Indy Urban Acres is an urban farm that teaches inner city children to grow vegetables and then supplies fresh produce to needy families. It’s located in a city park and open to the public for volunteering on Saturdays. Tyler invites anyone interested to come out and volunteer!
