What can I say about Sarah & Eric’s wedding film other than besides the drive through hours of rain from Indianapolis to New Harmony it was seemingly effortless to create! Shots seemed to jump off the lens at me and everything about the day seemed to be an artistic composition waiting to be filmed. I think to create a super wedding in a place like New Harmony you need to first love the place and take part in the culture that exists there which is what Sarah & Eric obviously did. This wasn’t the first time I’ve filmed there and I hope it won’t be the last as it’s an incredibly unique, beautiful and harmonious place. Pun intended! A big thanks to the couple, their families and the great staff at the Granary for treating us well and being so great to work with.
Hope everyone had a great labor day weekend. I wanted to make an update as to our working status here in our Indianapolis studio. We’ve been hard at work on several projects lately, most recently finishing the computer safety training video for Citizens Energy here in Indianapolis. Also we’ve recently finished editing on our African wedding project which was very elaborate & extensive involving about 14 hours of footage!
Coming up – we are close to being done with Sara & Dustin’s wedding edit which is coming out nicely. Another project we are hard at work on is the Western style concert we filmed in Terra Haute at the Boot City Opry not long ago. Also coming right up we plan to get more work done on Abby and Mark’s wedding Dan & Heidi’s wedding and Allison & Greg’s wedding video. With the end of the wedding season fast approaching, this month will be the last really busy one with shoots for the next three weekends. I’m excited with our progress this summer and looking forward to finishing this season out strong with some great work to show for it!
We’ve been hard at work here in our Indianapolis studio on the Burton Burke wedding video lately and are close to wrapping up production on it. This video is a great example of a multiple camera wedding and a wedding with extras such as rehearsal dinner coverage and coverage of the girls at the salon. Sometimes bigger is better and in this case the saying is definitely true. This was a big event in many ways. Lots of things planned, tons of speaches, a large church ceremony and an elaborate large scale reception. Its only fitting the video is long and will be quite elaborate as well! Here’s the highlights from the day.
