Morris Park

Thanks for watching Lauren and Steven’s Morris Park Country Club wedding! What a fun packed wedding day. It was a pleasure to be the videographers for this beautiful couple and to be guests at the newly remodeled Morris Park Country Club in South Bend, Indiana. We’ve filmed at Morris Park several times over the years (check out one of our fav’s here). We always love coming back to work with the MPCC team plus this wedding was an added bonus. It was one of the first time anyone had the privilege to film a wedding at the newly remodeled ballroom and I believe only the second wedding hosted since the updates. I always love being the first ones:) It was so fresh I think some of the paint was still drying and let me tell you it is fab!

Bride Thing

The day started at Lauren’s parents home where we had a blast hanging with the ladies filming Lauren’s details plus hair & makeup. I love how chill Lauren was. She wasn’t worried about all the details. She said and I quote “I’m just doing my bride thing today” and do her bride thing she did. From the makeup to the vows and dancing she rocked it.

Groom Thing

Sometimes we can forget the bride has a lot of pressure on her during the day. How to look, how to act, making sure to include everyone and not miss any details. The groom has a lot of pressure too. There’s ceremony elements such as procession, vows, kiss, and recession that need to go smoothly. Friends and family to meet and impress. Not to mention all the emotional buildup that comes to fruition in a wedding day. Believe me no groom wants to sob uncontrollably while saying his wedding vows but it’s often appreciated by the bride when it happens:) All this to say give respect to the bride & groom!! Their role is the most important and the most difficult. So yes, props to you Lauren and Steven you did your bride and groom thing, you had a fun wedding day and enjoyed every minute!
