The Basilica Royale Wedding

Haley’s brother said in his speech it was always his sister’s dream growing up to have tons of that wedding sparkle! I think it’s safe to say Haley and Gary had plenty of sparkle in their wedding day. But sparkle isn’t just a fun way to dress or decorate, it’s an attitude. It’s an outlook on life. Gary and Haley are a beautiful couple and together they have a wonderful positive energy. Seriously try and watch their film without a smile!

The day began at The Doubletree in South Bend. We began filming the ladies and guys prepping. After this Gary and Haley exchanged notes and gifts to one another. They did a beautiful job expressing themselves and reading on camera. I always encourage our couples to read a note aloud if they write one to make their film more personal. So after all the prep of hair, makeup and dress. Haley gave her bridesmaids and father a first look at her in the dress. She also shared a gift of a fine wedding dress drawing with her mother in a very special moments.

Haley and Gary chose to host their ceremony at the Notre Dame Basilica. This was fitting as they met and began dating during their time at Notre Dame University. Their story came full circle 7 years later with their wedding on campus. It was a lovely event and came just days after the mask restrictions were lifted on guests indoors and outside so cheers to that!
