Laura and Zach’s great wedding day love story led them through twists and turns frustrations and breakthroughs in their planning process. All to a beautiful wedding day surrounded by family and friends. Hats off to this couple they had to put off being married for nearly a year from their original wedding date. But thank goodness they stuck with it! Their day was incredible. From first meeting the ladies and gentlemen on the wedding day the excitement was palpable. And that excitement and fun continued throughout.
We managed to get one of the most gorgeous days of the year for them. It was the perfect Michigan day, clear and warm in the afternoon with and bit of crisp cool lake air come evening. The ceremony and reception were on site at Morris Estate in Niles, MI. A venue we’ve come to know and love over the years.
The entire wedding was a perfect fit for the bride and groom. Their patience and persistence paid off big with a truly great wedding day love story. Cheers to them!!
I may be daydreaming reflecting on Katie and Brad’s ethereal winter wedding. White and bright, cold and grey but hospitable. Subtle cool tones. These are some of the adjectives I’d use to describe the campus of Notre Dame in winter. At least the campus on the kind of day that Katie and Brad had. It was beautiful to say the least. Warm enough we were able to film outside without gloves. But our ears and hands reminded us it was still winter after a half hour or so. Katie Whitcomb and I had a blast taking photos & filming while Katie & Brad did their part looking great and braving the cold. Kudos to them!
We began the day filming with Katie and her bridal crew getting glammed up at their suite in Hilton Garden Inn. We even got a few of Brad getting suited up with his bro’s. Then it was time for Katie’s big reveal with her father as they shared a first look moments before heading to the church. Their Basilica ceremony was beautiful. The priest shared a some memories from Katie’s time taking his “tree class”. Then he even shared some of Katie’s reflections from her time in class. He incorporated those reflections into their ceremony homily in a beautiful way. Their reception followed at the Gillespie conference center nearby which is perfect for large or intimate events such at theirs.
Their winter wedding film has certain attributes of heavenly grace and sublime beauty. Perhaps a good reflection of Katie and Brad’s married life together!

Rosemary and Greg hosted their pitch perfect wedding day at the University of Notre Dame where they both attended school. The day began with Rosemary getting ready fine tuning all the details hair, make up etc. Rosemary and her ladies had a chill attitude and enjoyed all the moments and laughs with the cameras rolling. After Rosemary’s first look with her dad we scuttled over to the Basilica to get some coverage of the main man (the groom) Greg getting prepped for the ceremony. There wasn’t much time to get shots in the Basilica due to the current restrictions in place. Fortunately for us we work at the Basilica often see more of our ND weddings here! and have an efficient routine to get ready there. We were able to get all set up in time and got great looks with Greg!
As Greg and Rosemary met one another singing in the choir at ND they wanted to make a special nod to that by singing a song together on campus. They also included members of their wedding party and friends who were in choir with them. The group sang at the famed Grotto on campus while onlookers stood around and admired them. It was a beautiful moment and a perfect, emotive score to begin their film with. So kudos to the couple for trying something different on their wedding day, and for doing a beautiful job with it!! Check out their short film.

To say Laura & Glenn’s Wedding at Industry 828 was exceptional would be an understatement. Laura and Glenn’s wedding seemed like an easy composite of their favorite things. All brought together in love, great design, and lots fun!
Their day, ceremony and reception all took place at Industry 828 Events Center in the historic Industrial center of Indianapolis, Ind. The venue provided plenty of space for their guests. The venue has a cool industrial vibe with lots of exposed brick and natural light for getting ready and photos. Industry also comes with close access to the city for pictures and video.
If you watch Laura and Glenn interact for more than a few minutes you can tell they’re great together. The ease with which they communicate. You also recognize the trust between them built on a solid friendship. This all came out so well during video and photos on their wedding day. Don’t take my word for it though. Check out their film and see all the moments that create their love story! Thanks Zarah and Sam for filming the day!
