Stacey and Taylor had a beautiful, wistful wedding day at the Indiana State Museum. We love weddings at the ISM. It’s a unique location right on the Canal Walk with fantastic photo opportunities and amazing views of Indianapolis. The grounds are especially great on a nice day when there’s people walking, running, paddle-boating or bicycle riding. That kinetic energy between people, nature and space creates an almost magical atmosphere. The kind which I think embodies the spirit of a wedding. Maybe a way to describe it is like stepping into the scene from (La Grande Jatte by Georges Seurat) one of my favorite paintings 🙂
Well enough from me, check out this sweet couples wedding film!!
It was a pleasure getting to know Alicia and Paul during our pre-planning process and working with them on their wedding day. The day was a wonderful expression of their love and shared experiences. From their personal vows to the gigantic apple fritter wedding cake (from their favorite bakery) these personal touches really helped make the day special. We can’t fail to mention, Paul being a talented composer wrote and recorded the song you’ll hear for Alicia. Amazing yes?

George and Kathryn wowed everyone who attended their celebration with a very unique and incredible singing performance not once but twice during their ceremony. It’s the stuff you usually only see in movies and I was thrilled to be able to capture it for their film. This trailer briefly shows the first song they did and other highlights from their beautiful day on the Garden Terrace at the Indianapolis Museum of Art. Between the typical wedding day busyness and stress George and Kathryn really took the time to make all of their guests feel welcome including us which says a lot about the couple they are. Best of luck to them in the future!

Conor and Leslie exchanged vows on a warm June day at the elegant, historic Union Station building in downtown Indianapolis. For a little background, The Union Railroad Station is a massive romanesque structure built during the cities’ railroad era and although passengers still board trains at Union Station the head house now serves as a banquet hall and is a very cool location for weddings as it’s super elegant and right in the heart of downtown.
Thank you Susan, Leslie’s mother, for including us in such a great line-up of vendors and staff which worked hard to make the day a great success. I hope you enjoy these wedding day highlights! Congrats!
