There are often striking similarities between schedules and locations during our wedding season. This year we had two couples in back to back weekends get married at St. Louis De Montfort Church in Fishers, IN. I think it’s God’s way of telling us he has a plan!
The first couple we just posted about, Nora and Dan. The next was Molly and Zach! Molly and Zach are a joy to be around and had a truly amazing wedding day. The day started with some rain showers as we were filming the ladies getting ready. Molly said before meeting Zach she would’ve been totally freaking out about it but so much of her attitude toward life has changed since knowing Zach. His easygoing approach helps her not worry too much about the details! Not to mention she and Zach are serious golfers and a golfer never lets a little rain stop them! So they had fun and enjoyed every minute of the day.
I loved filming at Daniel’s Vineyard for the second time in as many years. It was perfect with it’s covered patios for guests to be indoors and venture outside to overlook the vineyards. The grand ballroom was nicely decked out and perfect for their large group.

I think charming and delightful is a good way to describe Claire and Andrew and their wedding day! Claire wanted an intimate sized wedding for close family and friends with an easygoing vibe which their space Fort Harrison provided. When we arrived they were staying in cozy side by side guest houses on the campus which were actually renovated captains houses. The grounds and gazebo were perfect for their ceremony and the reception hall at the Inn fit everyone comfortably for dinner. Their vendors were all very accommodating. We enjoyed working with the banquet facility, 2to1 photography and PBJ Pro DJ throughout the day. From the grounds of the Park to the amazing sunset photo session everything came together perfectly to create the most beautiful experience for them! Take a minute to check out their short film!!
As Jessica’s father eloquently stated in his speech, planning a wedding is like preparing for a new baby. There’s lots of anticipation, planning, hard work, stress, some anxiety, and in the end you get to welcome a new member into the family! So our warmest congratulations to Jessica, Austin and their families on their brand new bundle of joy via a new marriage!
Our team Zarah, Sam and myself had a great time hanging out and filming for Jessica and Austin. The entire bridal party, especially the couple, were so great to work with. They really cared about our role as videographers and made every effort to help us be successful in our job.
We started the day with getting ready at The Oliver Inn in South Bend. The ceremony was at the Basilica at Notre Dame. This is truly one of our favorite places to film! You can’t go wrong with the gorgeous architecture and stain glass windows. Following the ceremony we had a blast doing videography on the ND football field, filming with the very talented Katie and Chris from Whitcomb Photography. For the reception Lori Kimmel and her team took excellent care of everyone at The Homestead 1835.
Thank you again to Jessica and Austin and their families for letting us capture their beautiful wedding on film! We hope you enjoy the short trailer film.
It’s not all the time you meet a couple who are as likable as John and Gina. They’re both very genuine, good hearted people. These characteristics which have no doubt served them well as individuals will surely make for a very successful marriage going forward.
The day got rolling with John, Gina and their party getting ready at the Doubletree Hotel in South Bend. John presented Gina with a beautiful pearl necklace and a surprise reveal of their honeymoon destination. Gina presented John with a beautiful pocket watch and her mother and father with traditional hankies to dry their tears. Gina joked the Old wives’ tail goes “if you catch one of the Bride’s tears with the hanky, your crops will be grow and be watered.”
For the ceremonies Gina and John said their vows in the Basilica and partied afterward at the beautiful Palais Royale.
We wish Gina and John the best that life has to offer!
