Marriage is about finding the someone you can't live without. Abbi and Dom married at The DoubleTree and The Basilica at Notre Dame

Finding the someone you can’t live without | Abbi and Dom Married at the Doubletree

I think Abbi’s dad said it best at their reception. In marriage don’t find that someone you think you can live with but find the someone you can’t live without. Isn’t that a beautiful statement? I believe it’s definitely the case for Abbi and Dom. They go together like like salt and pepper. 🙂

Abbi and Dom were introduced to me through our mutual friend and their photographer Sarah Sage. She said I’ve got this great couple I’d like you to meet, I love me some Abbi and Dom! So we met over zoom chat and hit it off really well. They described a kind of carefree special event focused on their love for one another and for those people special to them. Naturally I said of course, that sounds great let’s do it!

We wound up having a beautiful day with Abbi and Dom. The weather cooperated and all went according to schedule. The day began at DoubleTree Hotel in South Bend, IN. The guys and girls were getting ready in nearly conjoining conference rooms there. We moved Abbi up to her hotel room to take advantage of the natural light for her dress shots. All the ladies and guys did a cheers together and the stage was set for their ceremony. Their ceremony was at the Basilica at Notre Dame. We did photos all over Notre Dame campus then circled back to the DoubleTree in the atrium for their reception. Abbi and Dom and their party where so chill and easy to film all day. They all did an amazing job. At sunset we went out and filmed them showcasing their newly married together glam in front of the reflective wall there. Let me tell you they killed it! Cheers to the new couple.

Sarah and Daniel’s Wedding Filmed at St. Mark and Union Station in Indianapolis

I was fortunate to be able to film our second wedding for the Groves family. It was Sarah and Daniel’s turn this June in Indianapolis, IN. The Groves family host some of the most fun weddings I have ever experienced. And Sarah’s father left the crowd teary eyed with a heartfelt tribute to his daughter and new son-in-law. I’ll tell you, I had a hard time editing some of it without get emotional myself! And what a great wedding ceremony! Faith and family mean so much to Sarah and Daniel and it was crystal clear how much love and support was in the room from family and guests. Thanks Sarah and Daniel for allowing us to film your day. Check out this short teaser to the feature film from their day!

Trailer – Sarah and Ryan’s Wedding at D’Amore in Indianapolis, Indiana

Ryan and Sarah were wonderful to work with and hosted one amazing event! Some highlights of the day included an awesome candid session, watching the annual Indianapolis Circle of Lights event from the beautiful D’Amore, and a touching exchange of personal letters before the ceremony. Sarah is a special events planner so it was no surprise that she orchestrated a bulletproof production schedule and implemented a beautiful design theme for the D’Amore banquet facility. Just when you thought the day couldn’t get anymore exceptional it would. Check out this trailer of their film!
