When my assistant and I arrived at 3 Fat Labs we were greeted by Jalen who let us know we were kind of a big deal for their wedding day. We were like awesome, and soon Audrey reaffirmed this by letting us know we were a top priority for her! It was really special to know they cared this much about our work. Sometimes video isn’t deemed very important which is a shame but we always take our work seriously. We’re a company who cares about our work and our clients!
Audrey and Jalen were the sweetest couple to work with. Every aspect of their day had been lovingly considered. Their planner and event designer Audra of Hearts Arrow Events executed the plan perfectly. The mood was fun, light, natural and romantic.
Three Fat Labs Wedding and Event Barn in Greencastle, Indiana hosted the event. Have I mentioned we love barn weddings? Where else can you roll in, meet the property owner first thing and check out the wood smoker cooking dinner on site? At 3 Fat Labs the main event space is a beautiful handmade barn set on 30 private acres of woods. Fun fact, the structures are made from timber harvested on the property itself. The property also includes a bed and breakfast which can be rented by the wedding guests.
Also on site is a separate bride’s cottage. It was here in the bride cottage we filmed Audrey getting her hair and makeup finished. Meanwhile Jalen and his guys were hanging out and getting ready in the basement of the event barn. The ceremony took place on site behind the barn on a patio looking over the woods. The evening was filled with speeches and dancing at their reception. All in all the sights and sounds of the day were absolutely beautiful. Take a few minutes to enjoy their film and relive the day with us!
Excitement was in the air as we filmed Katie and Chris getting ready at their hotel. The ladies were enjoying their starbucks drinks and getting made up while the guys were having a beer to relax and looking good in their tuxes. Things went into full gear as the wedding party arrived at the Mustard Seed! Katie had an emotional first look with her dad which we were present to record and guests began to filter in. Although we got a little unexpected rain and had to move the ceremony inside it was no problem as the Mustard Seed is well suited to have an indoor or outdoor ceremony and have it look great either way! Take a look at this sneak peak from Katie and Chris’s film!
We had a fantastic time at Molly and Jordan’s wedding. The day went super smooth and before we knew it we were following the cow limo to the reception! There we were blown away by the beautiful design done by Martha (Molly’s Mother) and the event planner Beth. I don’t want to know how they got lighting to hang from the ceiling some 30′ up but it looked nice. History lesson: the farm was built in 1867, as a food producing venue for the rapidly growing Notre Dame University and was used for over 100 years to that end! All in all it was family and friends having fun and sharing hilarious speeches that made the day special for Molly, Jordan and their guests. Well enough said, check out their highlights film!
Wow, MIchigan is such an amazing place for weddings! I love the pristine nature and weather that exists there. Michelle and Andrew obviously do too as they chose to host their day near St. Joseph, Michigan. They went with a refined/vintage theme and had their reception at the very cool MillCreek Barns which worked very well for them and their day. The wedding was beautiful as were the couple and their guests!
