It was a beautiful September day for JoAnna and Brian’s Wedding celebration at Tippecanoe Place Restaurant in South Bend, IN. Sometimes magic really strikes between the location, planning, weather and execution and it did this time in spades! I love how JoAnna and Brian’s wedding although elegant and refined had an very relaxed feel. Cheers to Belle Behind the Ball for excellent planning and double cheers to JoAnna and Brian for saying I do!
We recently had the opportunity to film a stylized shoot at the FORUM in Fishers. Many thanks to our friend Sarah for inviting us to take part. It was a little different than our typical wedding film in that if something didn’t look quite right we could say uhh “can you try that toast again” or “can you turn towards the camera more during the vows”? But seriously, it was awesome exploring the amazing looks there at the venue and working with the talented vendors and models whose contributions made the shoot possible!

Wow, what a day! And what an amazing couple. We started the day at the Columbia Club where Deana and her bridesmaids got ready. We then did some filming alongside Navy Blue Photography at the Monument Circle with Deana despite the rain sprinkles. The ceremony was at Meridian Street UMC which is very well suited for wedding events. After their personalized vows Austin and Deana took a Gondola ride down the Canal. The Canal sits about 20 feet below street level which makes for a relaxing and romantic ride that took them right to the steps of their destination. Talk about a memorable entrance!
Austin and Deana were actually one of the first couples to take advantage of the amazing new facility Canal 337 for a wedding reception. It is located at the north end of the Central Canal downtown with a commanding view of the Canal and city. Well enough talk, take a peek at their trailer film to see what I mean.
Thank you to Austin and Deana and their families for letting us be a part of your special day. Best wishes!
