Wedding Day Film // Maggie and Mike at St. Pius X and Morris Park Country Club

What should you expect with a gorgeous couple, great family and beautiful locations? A gorgeous Wedding Day of course! There were many things that made Maggie & Mike’s day extra special but when I asked Maggie the bride for special insights she replied. “A couple things that were special was having my grandma’s rosary beads wrapped around my bouquet (she passed away in January) and my mom’s wedding gloves around the bouquet. Also, the weather was supposed to be 100% chance of storms all week and it turned out to be the most beautiful day- 70s and sunny!”

Well we couldn’t have been any happier to film on a beautiful 70’s and sunny day and had a blast working with the couple. The ceremony was at St. Pius X Catholic Church in Granger and Reception at one of our favorites the Morris Park Country Club. Check out this Short Film!

Wedding Videography for Sarah and Justin // Dahnke Ballroom at Notre Dame

Places matter to us as we move through the journey of life. It’s amazing how places can shape who we are and leave such an impact on our memory. I think the biggest reason for this is because of the people we encounter in those places. Sarah and Justin met on the campus of Notre Dame while they both attended undergrad together, got engaged on campus and fittingly enough  said “I do” on the same campus some 6 and half years after first meeting! So to say the university has special place in their hearts and life is by far understatement!

From the getting ready at Morris Inn to the ceremony at the Basilica and following reception at Dahnke Ballroom. It was a day filled with beauty and so much joy. I wish many years of life, love and happiness for Sarah and Justin together!!

Lisa + Jack :: Wedding in Indianapolis at the Historical Society

Vibe Video Productions recently filmed for Lisa and Jack at the Indiana Historical Society in Indianapolis. The wedding was coordinated by April Foster Events company and photographed by Nicole Green Photography who are both very talented and great to work with. Our entertainment for the evening was from the 33rd Street Band from Michigan, (one of the few Chicago cover bands around). They did a great job along with Jack when he stepped in on piano for a couple songs!

Enjoy this clip from their wedding!

How to choose your wedding videographer

In previous posts on this topic I’ve covered questions concerning experience, equipment, and services offered. These are important but also important is the personal connection you make with your pros. Of course you need to ask questions regarding the services they provide but try and avoid sounding suspicious or skeptical especially if this is someone you have a good feeling about. You don’t want your videographer or photographer to be offended by you before your day for obvious reasons! This being said please don’t choose your provider based mainly on their personal charm or lack thereof. Great charisma may sell a video but not get the work done right.
