Wow, did we love working with these two! And how fortunate we were to be apart of the day. Their wedding was a beautiful summer day with record high temps and equally scorching imagery!! Check out this short trailer first!
Getting ready was a blast at the Morris Inn with beautiful natural light moments filming the lovely bride and handsome groom. We soaked up all the fun along with their wedding party and talented photographers Katie & Chris Whitcomb who always arrange the activities and details to look the finest. Do I have to mention how great it is to have talented, experienced and helpful photographers for your event? Ok, let’s go ahead and show you the Trailer Film then if you have a few extra minutes go ahead and watch their Feature Film as well!
Emily and Mark had an absolutely beautiful wedding day at The Basilica of the Sacred Heart and the Morris Inn, two of our favorite wedding venues. I thought the speech by Emily’s father shared at the reception was especially moving. He said “Emily has always been a perfectionist. This is evident in all aspects of her life from her gymnastics to even packing a suitcase.. so it’s no surprise to me she picked Mark.” What a great compliment to them both! It was a joy sharing the day with Mark and Emily, laughing with them and seeing them enjoy the whole event. Check out their feature film!

I consider myself to be an opportunistic filmmaker. When I arrived to Notre Dame’s campus where Sunni and Tyler were getting ready for their wedding around 8 a.m. I jumped out of the car along the road to capture the snow falling on Notre Dame Blvd. Along my short walk to the Morris Inn I stopped to film other key features on campus. I am always blown away by how beautiful the campus is but it was especially beautiful this winter morning. Putting the beautiful campus aside, the real stars of the show were Tyler and Sunni. Their natural beauty and great camera awareness made it impossible to get a bad shot! It was a privilege to work with them and we wish them the best in their life together!
Julie and Chris had a extraordinarily beautiful wedding this fall. And I must say, they timed it just right (end of October for those taking mental notes) to get the best fall colors and great weather. I couldn’t believe it but this was my second opportunity in as many weeks to film at the new Morris Inn in South Bend and I can’t get enough of the place. It’s a beautiful new building and is located right in the heart of the Notre Dame campus. All in all Julie and Chris showed great taste in their choices of locations, dates, and other special details they included in their day including personal keepsakes and decorations. Our best to the new couple!
