Sarah & Josh had a beautiful Lake James wedding in Angola, Indiana. Sarah stunned Josh with a super cool first look. This included Sarah arriving to see Josh via boat! They were then married at the classic and quaint Potawanami, Inn on Lake James. The Inn has some really neat features and irresistable Lake cottage charm.
I love a wedding with character and Sarah and Josh’s wedding had that carefree summer style with light, water, color! Our best to the happy couple and may their lives be as beautiful as their wedding day. Thanks to Zarah for filming the day!

Your life is your interruptions…
The quote above was used by Mick and Heather’s priest during the Homily. The sentiment rings true many times in life I’d say. Though these interruptions are unexpected and catch us off guard, they are not random meaningless events. In fact, I believe these interruptions are divinely placed in our path for a reason.
I must say after working closely with Heather’s family to book the shoot and throughout the day they’re the nicest people I could hope to meet! It was also amazing to me how into each other Heather and Mick were the entire day. Sometimes weddings can be so hectic that the couple forgets to relax and enjoy one another through it all. Not these guys! It was clear that they were truly into every moment and really in love. And of course there’s less to stress about with awesome vendors including Katie and Chris with Katie Whitcomb Photo and Angie with Belle Behind the Ball who helped things go flawlessly. The ladies got ready at The Morris Inn on campus and the ceremony was at The Basilica with the reception following at The Blue Heron on Blackthorn golf course. Clear skies and warm weather were the theme of the day!
Lizzy and David were married by Father Fischer at the historic St. Joseph Church in Mishawaka, Indiana. The reception was at The Morris Inn on the campus of Notre Dame University. The Morris isn’t the largest or most elaborate event spaces in town but it is in my opinion one of the most elegant ballrooms in the city. And it really was perfect for Lizzy and David. With a beautiful yellow linens, spot and up lighting plus floral by Poppies it looked awesome. Years ago we actually had the privilege to be the first videographers to ever film in the Morris after it was constructed. We’ve been back many times since and of course hope to keep coming back for awesome events like this one. Check out some of our other favorite Morris Inn wedding films here!
This lovely evening was made possible by the efforts of many including: event design by the bride! Room lighting by Shawn Saros of Pro-Show, coordinating was Mary Anne of the Morris Inn, floral arrangements by Poppies By Polly, photography by Hannah Grace, and of course Cinematography by Vibe Video Productions. Entertainment was provided by the smooth sounding Blammo Band!
Jennifer and Lee hosted their wedding day at the very cool Mill Top Banquet Center in Noblesville. Although they’re both from out of town they chose to have the wedding in the Indy area as it was a good central location for all their guests to travel too. It’s true Indiana is the Crossroads of America!
In addition to all the many important elements of a wedding day such as friends, family and a great ceremony/reception the couple had a lot of fun and many great memories to share with their daughter. Jennifer and Lee did an excellent job hosting their destination event and we’re glad we could be part of it!
