We began the day with Josh and Kellie at Zionsville Fellowship Church filming their getting ready session. Both exchanged touching letters to one another prior to their ceremony followed shortly by their first look. After the ceremony we all made our way downtown for the reception at the Indiana State Museum. It was a beautiful evening with cocktails on the canal and fun candids outside with photographer Molly Connor and lots of heart felt speeches by family and friends MC’d by Jeremy at DJ Direct. Congrats to Josh and Kellie!
And the award for best romantic kiss in a Wedding Feature Film goes to a beautiful couple who really lit up the screen! Well, I may be watching too many awards shows lately but in all seriousness Alex and Whitney did have a lot of fun and shared some awesome romantic moments in front of the cameras with us. My wife Julie and videographer Zarah were present to film the day which worked out very well as Whitney and Julie knew each other from college. Their fall day was awesome, full of color and light which made for beautiful imagery. Watching their movie really made me think of vintage 16mm film and the classic movies era so we also incorporated film filters for even more flavor which worked out nicely.
The wedding ceremony was at the Broadway United Methodist Church and the reception at the Indiana State Museum in downtown Indianapolis. Check out their wedding film trailer! Thank you Alex and Whitney for letting us be apart of your day!
