When I first spoke with Charlotte I could tell her wedding would be a special event as excited as she was about the day. The wedding was going to be at her parents home where she grew up and always dreamed of getting married. And like most brides, she had spared no expense or effort to make sure everything was going to be perfect. When I arrived in Danville at her parents home, I could see their efforts had definitely paid off! The location was beautifully transformed into a wedding venue complete with elegant tables, chairs, decor, and lighting.
Of course with any outdoor wedding you take a chance with the weather. In spite of the forecast the weather held for most the day until right before the ceremony when it rained but props to Charlotte and Traian as they had faith and waited about 20 minutes for things to clear up. All the while everyone was telling them to move into the tent! Long story short, the ceremony was beautiful and we were even treated to a double rainbow as Charlotte’s dad, Clint, walked her down the aisle!
Charlotte and Traian had one epic wedding day and we were blessed to film it for them. Our very best to the couple and may they have many rainbows to come!

I have to say I was quite moved by the emotions Shaun and Sarah showed during their day from the first look to the vows plus it was great fun watching them improv their first dance. Get a look for yourself!

Sarah & Brandon were truly a pleasure to film for and worked with us from the beginning to help make their video a great success! The ceremony was at the St Lukes UMC a beautiful and inviting space and the reception was at the Historical Society downtown with cocktails on the canal. The Historical Society with it’s access to the canal and city views is one of our favorite places to film. We also had a great time working with A Touch of Elegance wedding planners as always and Braxton Black Photography. Our best to Sarah and Brandon, we wish them luck with their Purdue-IU rivalry!

What can I say about Sarah & Eric’s wedding film other than besides the drive through hours of rain from Indianapolis to New Harmony it was seemingly effortless to create! Shots seemed to jump off the lens at me and everything about the day seemed to be an artistic composition waiting to be filmed. I think to create a super wedding in a place like New Harmony you need to first love the place and take part in the culture that exists there which is what Sarah & Eric obviously did. This wasn’t the first time I’ve filmed there and I hope it won’t be the last as it’s an incredibly unique, beautiful and harmonious place. Pun intended! A big thanks to the couple, their families and the great staff at the Granary for treating us well and being so great to work with.
