Laura + Glenn // Wedding at Industry 828 in Indianapolis, Ind.

To say Laura & Glenn’s Wedding was exceptional would be an understatement. Weddings as lovely usually don’t come easy but Laura and Glenn’s wedding seemed like an easy composite of their favorite things. All grounded by love, great design, and lots fun on Laura and Glenn’s part!

Their day, ceremony and reception all took place at Industry 828 Events Center in the historic Industrial center of Indianapolis, Ind. The venue provided plenty of space for their guests with lots of exposed brick and plenty of window light for the getting ready process. Industry also comes with easy access to the city of Indy for pictures and video.

If you watch Laura and Glenn interact for more than a few minutes you realize the ease with which they communicate, you also recognize the trust between them and an easy enjoyment of being together. This all came out so well during video and photos on their wedding day. But don’t take my word for it check out their film and see all the moments that create the tapestry of their love story!!

Filming on prison grounds

I had an amazing experience this past weekend shooting video at the Plainfield Correctional Facility near Indianapolis for a documentary which I am currently filming and doing directing on. Although my experience was safe I have to say nothing could have mentally prepared me for going inside the facility grounds. It’s truly amazing and heartbreaking to see first hand the situation that these people have got themselves into. Being there definitely gave me a greater appreciation for the opportunities we have as free Americans and for the laws and systems that govern our society.

In all I was able to get some very inspiring footage of the Kiaros program in action. Individuals in this program reach out to incarcerated people with the gospel and excellent food for a welcome weekend away from their daily routine!

Sports Videography

It’s that time of year again – football season. Vibe Productions has been filming football games at Brebuef Jesuit School in Indianapolis, Ind.  at the request of one of the player’s parents. The video is used for review and study of the games as well as for a keepsake (something to have after season and high school days are over to remember it all by).

Video is an excellent way to record very important events and create keepsake’s to treasure. But this is just one of very many purposes video serves. There is so many means by which videographers and filmmakers can express themselves. It’s a very exciting time to be a visual artist with the tools and variety of mediums available. There’s so many formats to work in such as documentary, music, sports, dance, movie’s, short films, promotion, advertising, educational, instructional and many more.

While at Vibe we focus primarily on documenting and producing events, we continue to explore the many other aspects of video production. We love to take on any new challenges our customers may have for us; no two projects are ever the same and should not be approached as such. Our company was built on the love for contemporary media and its power for visual storytelling and lord willing we will continue to produce and master new and better ways to create for and serve our clients in the future.
