I got to know Heather’s sister, Heidi, from working with her as a fellow events industry professional. And I was honored when she referred us to film for Heather and Mike’s wedding this past winter. Although it was a winter wedding in December, it was a balmy 70 degrees outside! And much like the weather Heather, Mike, their friends and family were all very warm and wonderful people to be around. I’ll keep those warm memories with me when I think back on their day. Our best to the happy couple!
I consider myself to be an opportunistic filmmaker. When I arrived to Notre Dame’s campus where Sunni and Tyler were getting ready for their wedding around 8 a.m. I jumped out of the car along the road to capture the snow falling on Notre Dame Blvd. Along my short walk to the Morris Inn I stopped to film other key features on campus. I am always blown away by how beautiful the campus is but it was especially beautiful this winter morning. Putting the beautiful campus aside, the real stars of the show were Tyler and Sunni. Their natural beauty and great camera awareness made it impossible to get a bad shot! It was a privilege to work with them and we wish them the best in their life together!
It was inspirational to see and talk to the many people who came together to walk for a cure to end Alzheimer’s disease.
What do you get with over 3,500 runners, tons of cookies santa hats and beards, 2 reindeer and 3 minutes of video? A fun and colorful promotional film for the Santa Hustle hosted here in Indianapolis, Ind. This was the first year for this race in Indy and it was a big success thanks to the Adrenaline Sports Marketing company. Almost makes me feel like training to run next year – hmm better think that one through some more. Check it out!

This past December we filmed Troy and Stephanie’s wedding (ceremony only in High Definition) on the campus of Goshen College in the new Rieth Concert Hall. A very Impressive place! The hall is part of the college’s new music arts facility and not really intended to hold weddings but a member of the school staff had a wedding there and apparently the word spread quickly making it a popular location. The best thing about the space aside from great lighting and architecture is the way the it’s designed for sound, carrying music and voices very nicely. Great Job Troy and Stephanie!
