beautiful day for Carly and Nick at Mavris Arts and Events Center in Indianapolis, IN. A baby gender reveal and epic dance celebration.

incredible Indianapolis wedding day at mavris arts & event center for carly & nick!

It was a beautiful day for Carly and Nick’s wedding at Mavris Arts and Events Center in Indianapolis, IN. I’ve filmed at the The Mavris several times before but I’d never seen the space so fully used as I did for Carly and Nick’s wedding. In all there were 4 floor location changes throughout the day all within the venue. Ceremony was on the 1st floor. Cocktail hour on the third floor. The grand entrance and speeches on the 2nd followed by dinner with three unique serving stations. And last but maybe most incredible an epic baby gender reveal, and a raging dance party back on the 3rd floor!

Back up to the ceremony. It was hosted on the first floor which is normally the lobby. I wasn’t fully sure how that would work at first but it was absolutely great. There’s actually more space for the guests, an elegant stairwell for the bride’s entrance and plenty of what makes the Mavris shine, original wood and brick surfaces. Their ceremony was great. Carly and Nick said their vows and pledged devotion to one another from the heart. The minister joked it’s usually the bride who cries from being overcome with emotion but in their case it was Nick. It’s really cool to see a groom confident enough to share his feelings and so passionate about his bride. I’m happy we were there to capture it all for them.

All this came together smoothly for an awesome wedding at Mavris Arts and many amazing memories for the bride and groom, their family and friends. Check out their wedding day story!

Katie & Stefan {Wedding at D’Amore in Indy}

At the top of the city looking out was the amazing view we had during Katie and Stefan’s wedding this past November. Katie and Stefan along with the talented staff at D’Amore designed the event perfectly to compliment the winter season. There were snowflake centerpieces, frosty champagne, mistletoe and cool uplighting to set the tone. They also planned their wedding for the day after Thanksgiving when the christmas lights are turned on at monument circle downtown. Of course we had a front row seat to view the lighting and subsequent fireworks show from where we were at the top of Chase Tower. I hope you enjoy the sights and sounds of their very special day!

Bailey and Brian’s Wedding | Filmed at Regions Tower in Indianapolis

Bailey and Brian had a perfect day to be married outdoors on the Terrace at Regions Tower. Everything from the weather to the couple themselves was eye candy for the cameras! We spent the whole day with them at the Regions, from their getting ready session to dancing outside on the terrace at the reception. The outdoor space was amazing with a great view of the city and the inside space was just as nice.. in my opinion this trailer really captures fun and beauty of the day!

Leslie + Conor, Wedding at the Crown Plaza Union Station in Indianapolis

Conor and Leslie exchanged vows on a warm June day at the elegant, historic Union Station building in downtown Indianapolis. For a little background, The Union Railroad Station is a massive romanesque structure built during the cities’ railroad era and although passengers still board trains at Union Station the head house now serves as a banquet hall and is a very cool location for weddings as it’s super elegant and right in the heart of downtown.

Thank you Susan, Leslie’s mother, for including us in such a great line-up of vendors and staff which worked hard to make the day a great success. I hope you enjoy these wedding day highlights! Congrats!
