What a sweet and special day it was outside in God’s wedding chapel for Pete and Allison’s wedding. We began the day with Allison and her ladies getting hair done at E.M. Studio Salon in Brownsburg, which was convenient as I live about 5 minutes away. That morning Allison’s mother Karen presented her with a surprise scrapbook full of pictures and memories from Allison and Pete’s 10 years of dating relationship. Wow, what an amazing history!
The day was full of fun, friends, beautiful sunshine and moments all the way up to the end where everyone let off a lantern and filled the sky with the light of Allison and Pete’s love. Our best to the newlywed’s may their love burn very bright in the future!

Allison and Brandon hosted their wedding at the Indianapolis ArtsGarden and treated themselves and their guests to the truly unique experience this venue provides. Elevated above street level in the heart of the city the ArtsGarden offers immersive views and exciting atmosphere. Not to mention it’s glass walls and ceilings allow in natural light in abundance.
Our team was with Brandon and Allison from early in the day (to capture Allison and Brandon’s wedding tux and dress going on) until late in the evening for dancing and celebrating. Thanks Sammi Renee Photography for working with us throughout the day to help us capture every moment! It was also truly a pleasure working with the staff at Conrad Indianapolis who did an amazing job coordinating and catering. Thanks to our talented team Zarah and Mitch for filming the day. Here’s a quick taste of the full wedding feature film in a short format.
One of the best things about filming weddings is having the opportunity to capture raw, true emotion. We are so fortunate to be able to work with such wonderful, genuine people time and time again! Olivia and David’s special day was no exception. The couple beat the summer heat by hosting their wedding at Indiana Landmarks, one of Indy’s excellent indoor venues. What’s so great about Indiana Landmarks is that it offer great spaces for everything all in one location – from getting ready rooms with great light, a classic romantic ceremony area, and a restored ballroom with ample dancing space. Everything about the day was well planned and aesthetically beautiful which of course makes our job easy! Thank you, Olivia and David, for asking us to be apart of your special day. Cheers to the new couple.

Your life is your interruptions…
The quote above was used by Mick and Heather’s priest during the Homily. The sentiment rings true many times in life I’d say. Though these interruptions are unexpected and catch us off guard, they are not random meaningless events. In fact, I believe these interruptions are divinely placed in our path for a reason.
I must say after working closely with Heather’s family to book the shoot and throughout the day they’re the nicest people I could hope to meet! It was also amazing to me how into each other Heather and Mick were the entire day. Sometimes weddings can be so hectic that the couple forgets to relax and enjoy one another through it all. Not these guys! It was clear that they were truly into every moment and really in love. And of course there’s less to stress about with awesome vendors including Katie and Chris with Katie Whitcomb Photo and Angie with Belle Behind the Ball who helped things go flawlessly. The ladies got ready at The Morris Inn on campus and the ceremony was at The Basilica with the reception following at The Blue Heron on Blackthorn golf course. Clear skies and warm weather were the theme of the day!
