Shannon and Adam's Lafayette Indiana wedding love story. We filmed their wedding video at Church of the blessed sacrament in Lafayette, IN

A Lafayette love story! | Shannon & Adam’s wedding video

What’s a Lafayette love story? Well let me tell you here’s a few Lafayette weddings we’ve filmed over the years. Most recently we had the privilege to film Shannon and Adam’s Lafayette wedding. I always love working in Lafayette, it just seems to have a special vibe. Shannon first contacted me during the middle of the lockdown. She and her then fiancé Adam were gracious and took plenty of time to chat and get to know our service. I could tell right away they were a great team! Two very kind and thoughtful people.

We talked over the challenges of doing life and planning a wedding during a lockdown. I learned how they met at their work engineering for a company in Lafayette, Indiana. It’s really neat how God’s hand in providence brought them together from far apart. Adam coming from Texas and Shannon from her studies abroad in Germany. They both landed in Lafayette, Indiana a great middle of the road place to settle down. And perfect to start a life together.

Long story short Shannon and Adam had been planning their wedding for awhile and were a bit ruffled by the pandemic. They were not deterred though from their plans to be married! They kept their date but did need to scale back. This is where we the videographers came into the picture. To tell their story for those who couldn’t attend.

I loved Shannon and Adam’s attitude and positivity. Rather than being beat down about the circumstances they wanted to make the best of it, enjoy the day and celebrate getting married. It’s that attitude that made their day a great success and I know will serve them well in their married life together. Our best to Adam and Shannon, may all your dreams come true and thanks for including us in your Lafayette love story. Many happy years together!

Krystal and Brian {Wedding at Union Station and St. John the Evangelist Church}

Krystal and Brian had a blockbuster wedding day! All the events took place within a couple of Indianapolis city blocks. We got started filming with Krystal at the Omni Hotel then hopped on over to Crown Plaza Union Station for the couples first look. It was then on to the historic St. John’s Church right across from the Indy Convention Center for the wedding ceremony and vows. We ended the day at Crowne Plaza Union Station with dinner, speeches and dancing. What an amazing day and emotive film that resulted. Check out the trailer!

Alissa & Brian’s Indianapolis Wedding Day Video

Alissa and Brian had a beautiful wedding day! We started the day with Alissa getting ready and the guys hanging out at Hotel Broad Ripple. They both read notes to each other and allowed us to capture many special moments on camera. As the day progressed our cinematographer Rachel did a wonderful job capturing the ceremony at St Joan of Arc, pictures on Butler’s campus and the reception at the Willows on Westfield. Our best to Alissa and Brian. May the future bring them much success and happiness!

Elizabeth and Anthony’s Wedding at the Basilica of the Sacred Heart in Notre Dame, Indiana

Elizabeth and Anthony had a beautiful wedding day at The University of Notre Dame this March. I love filming on ND’s campus as it presents different looks for all seasons of the year. We started the day at the Morris Inn with Elizabeth getting ready and Tony getting ready nearby at the Inn at St. Mary’s. The ceremony was at The Basilica of the Sacred Heart with the reception hosted at McKenna Hall.

Elizabeth and Anthony met each other for the first time at the Notre Dame bookstore as Elizabeth’s friend mentioned in her speech so it’s fitting they said “I do” on campus. It’s amazing how the places we’ve been in life help us build relationships that last a lifetime. Many thanks to the amazing crew at Whitcomb Photography for the referral. Our best to Elizabeth and Anthony in their life together!
