Hearing Mary and Jamie tell their story it’s easy to see their hearts are at home together. Mary says she knew the first time she saw Jamie. Jamie described taking Mary to vacation with his family very early on in their courtship and it being so natural. They are from opposite ends ends of the country. Mary from Florida and Jamie from California but their paths converged at the crossroads of America, Indiana! Since they met at Notre Dame University it was only fitting that they were married in a destination wedding on campus at The Basilica of the Sacred Heart back where it all began.
The idea of home being where the heart is was the meaning behind an awesome song Jamie wrote and performed for Mary at their reception at The Brick. Since they met whether they were just across campus from each other during college years or coasts apart they had found their home in one another. Our best to the new couple. May your home be blessed with happiness and filled with beauty!
Elizabeth and Anthony had a beautiful wedding day at The University of Notre Dame this March. I love filming on ND’s campus as it presents different looks for all seasons of the year. We started the day at the Morris Inn with Elizabeth getting ready and Tony getting ready nearby at the Inn at St. Mary’s. The ceremony was at The Basilica of the Sacred Heart with the reception hosted at McKenna Hall.
Elizabeth and Anthony met each other for the first time at the Notre Dame bookstore as Elizabeth’s friend mentioned in her speech so it’s fitting they said “I do” on campus. It’s amazing how the places we’ve been in life help us build relationships that last a lifetime. Many thanks to the amazing crew at Whitcomb Photography for the referral. Our best to Elizabeth and Anthony in their life together!
Justine and Matt combined a bit of both of their cultures into one really cool and fun wedding day. We always try to wrap the character and emotion of the day into just a few minutes with the highlights film and I think this video did that perfectly! With a beautiful couple, fantastic toasts and great candid moments. It was truly a wonderful event and a perfect set up for great wedding videography. Our best to Matt and Justine!
I consider myself to be an opportunistic filmmaker. When I arrived to Notre Dame’s campus where Sunni and Tyler were getting ready for their wedding around 8 a.m. I jumped out of the car along the road to capture the snow falling on Notre Dame Blvd. Along my short walk to the Morris Inn I stopped to film other key features on campus. I am always blown away by how beautiful the campus is but it was especially beautiful this winter morning. Putting the beautiful campus aside, the real stars of the show were Tyler and Sunni. Their natural beauty and great camera awareness made it impossible to get a bad shot! It was a privilege to work with them and we wish them the best in their life together!
