We loved filming for Mick and Heather the Blue Heron at Blackthorn recently. What a beautiful event!
“Your life is your interruptions.” The quote above was used by Mick and Heather’s priest during the Homily. The sentiment rings true many times in life I’d say. Though these interruptions are unexpected and catch us off guard, they are not random meaningless events. In fact, I believe these interruptions can be divine roadmaps rather than roadblocks!
I must say after working closely with Heather’s family to book the shoot and throughout the day they’re the nicest people I could hope to meet! Sometimes weddings can be so hectic that the couple forgets to relax and enjoy one another through it all. Not Mick and Heather! It was clear that they were truly into every moment and really in love. And of course there’s less to stress about with awesome vendors including Katie Whitcomb Photo and Angie with Belle Behind the Ball who helped things go flawlessly. The ladies got ready at The Morris Inn on campus and the ceremony was at The Basilica with the reception following at The Blue Heron on Blackthorn golf course. Clear skies and warm weather were the theme of the day!
Well another awesome season is wrapping up for us here at the Vibe Video Productions headquarters in the now very snowy and impassable Indianapolis. We’re proud to have represented our company well this year while filming for awesome couples from all over Indiana and some from out of state. So in addition to writing a blog about Rachel and Adam and telling them how much we appreciate and enjoyed working for them I’d like to take this chance to say Happy Holidays and thanks to all of our couples and excellent freelance employees from this year! Your commissions and efforts make it possible for us to keep doing the work we love and we appreciate all of your support and good will toward us.
Of course the wedding season is almost over for this year but we’ve been busy through November and December with one event to shoot yet this coming weekend! We always try to get as many of our films as possible edited and out by Christmas but of course always have a few that we just can’t get to as they were more recent events and we’re still editing weddings from the lovely fall days in October. Well I must say we are a day past Christmas with Adam & Rachel’s blog post but still they are our official Christmas couple for 2012! Once the snowplows clear up our roads enough to drive, their Blu-ray discs will be delivered to Santa’s helpers at the post office and whisked down the chimney of their home here in Indy. But until then we’ll have to settle for presenting the highlights of their day here on our site. Last but definitely not least a big thanks for filming to our freelancers Zarah & Eric. Sit back relax and check out their film!
