As a visual artist new people and places always inspire me. I guess that’s one reason filming weddings is so intriguing. There’s always something new and unexpected waiting to be seen. Bart and Laura had an epic event this past weekend in Indianapolis with all kinds of amazing experiences to be shared by the guests and couple. Laura had a big part in the planning and designed the day to take place all within a few city blocks in downtown Indy which is not only a credit to her but a nod to the city and the convenience of hosting events here. We started off the day at the Conrad hotel with getting ready shots then walked over to St. John Catholic Church for the ceremony. Afterwards we traversed the city for the candid session ending up at the incredible Indiana Roof Ballroom for the reception.
I was asked by the couple to produce a next day edit to show at breakfast for the wedding party and gladly put in the extra hours that night to create this highlights of the day. Check it out and enjoy the sights and sounds of Laura and Bart’s day!
I knew Tom and Jennifer were going to be great to work with from the time we met! They were serious about having an extra special event and they accomplished that special day with lots of fun and wonderful memories. The couple met while attending Purdue University and wanted to reflect the significance of the place by taking photos on campus and having the ceremony and reception in Lafayette, Ind. The ceremony was at the Cathedral of St. Mary and the Reception at the Purdue Memorial Union South Ballroom. Check out this trailer film from their totally sweet wedding!!
Vibe Productions recently filmed for Cara & Ryan in South Bend Indiana at the Palais Royale. The facility is an old opera house that was renovated several years ago into an opulent banquet facility with a massive ballroom and fantastic decor.
We were able to get some excellent shots of the couple and wedding party before the ceremony outside the Palais and nearby in Howard Park along with josephiney photography. Everyone was very animated and had a lot of fun which will be evident in the video.
Congrats to Cara & Ryan from us and our best wishes for your future! Thanks Guys.
