It was a sweet kick off to married life for Catherine and Conor at Notre Dame this winter. Although it was winter the weather cooperated nicely! It was cool and cloudy, the light was perfect but they didn’t need help from the amazing sunlight to look great. They were able to do that on their own. They’re a beautiful couple!
Their ceremony was at the famous Basilica on campus and was very beautiful. The reception was hosted nearby at the historic Palais Royale one of our favorite large scale venues. Check out some of the many another amazing weddings we’ve filmed at Palais. The reception was full of amazing dances and speeches but one thing Catherine’s dad said really moved us all. “What do Conor and I have in common? 37 years ago I was standing at the alter of the Basilica waiting for those two medieval doors to open and I saw a vision. I saw a vision of strength, grace, intelligence with a smile as wide as the Mississippi and a heart and soul that are stronger. And from that day to this nothin changed. Conor three hours ago you saw the exact same thing. And because that apple didn’t fall far from that tree we have a bond that will never be broken.”
Nicely done Cath and Connor! Congrats on married life! Beautiful. Cheers.
