We loved filming for Victoria and Stephen on their wedding day at Indiana Historical Society! The lilac trees were in full bloom, everything was green and the smell of spring and love was in the air! If you’re a bride or groom trying to plan your wedding date and are undaunted by early May weather it can be one of the most beautiful times of the year to be married.
We began the day with Victoria and Stephen at St. Pius X Church for their ceremony. Here we captured video of the guests arriving, the church and the couple getting ready prior to their vows. Our philosophy is to never waste opportunity during the day. This means we don’t just arrive at a location and wait for the ceremonies to start. We capture the small nuances going on around us all the time because these are moments that can make the story special. This is why we capture outside of the church, inside the auditorium, the flowers and the guests arriving just to name a few!
After the vows and formalities we traveled with Victoria and Stephen to the circle and the canal downtown for their candid video session. Then it was off to the Indiana Historical Society for the reception in the classic Eli Lilly Hall. I must confess the Historical society is one of my favorite Indianapolis wedding venues. Many thanks to our talented crew Zarah and Sam for filming the day. Our best to the beautiful couple!
