What an unforgettable wedding in downtown Indianapolis! As a visual artist, I find inspiration in new people and places. This is one reason why filming weddings captivates me. There’s always something new and unexpected waiting to be discovered.
Bart and Laura hosted an incredible event this past weekend in Indianapolis. A day filled with amazing experiences for both guests and the couple. Laura had a significant role in planning the day. She planned the celebration to take place within just a few city blocks in downtown Indianapolis.
The cool thing about having a wedding downtown in Indy is you can walk to all the wedding locations. This is a testament to the central design and highlights the convenience of hosting events in Indianapolis.
We began the day at the Conrad Hotel for getting ready shots. We proceeded to walk over to St. John Catholic Church for the ceremony. Afterward, we explored the city for a candid photo session that concluded at the stunning Indiana Roof Ballroom.
The couple requested a same day edit to showcase during breakfast for the wedding party. I stayed awake and put in the extra hours that night to create a highlights reel of their day. It was brutal but so cool to deliver the film that morning.
