Vibe Video Productions was in New Harmony, Ind. this past weekend for the wedding of Jordyn Kirtley and Matthew Byington. New Harmony is a historic southern town on the Wabash River in Harmony Township, Posey County, Ind. It’s about a three and a half hour drive from Indianapolis and well worth the trip. The many charms of New Harmony make it a favorable wedding location. Aside from offering beautiful and convenient venues for weddings and receptions, New Harmony is also a favorite place for couples to celebrate the renewal of their union. Matt and Jordyn had been to New Harmony several times together during their time dating and have a special affinity for the town which lead to their decision to wed there.
The ceremony at the Roofless Church which is appropriately named as it is a beautiful outdoor space with no roof. After the ceremony Matt and Jordyn led the wedding party and the rest of the guests down the road to the Granary, a beautifully restored brick and wood building where the reception took place. All in all, we were able to get some great, creative video shots before and after the ceremony with the couple. Later in the night we captured several touching best wishes messages from family and friends, some wild dancing, and a special tribute song to the couple from Jordyn’s parents.
