Here’s a clip from the Freed Burchard wedding in Harrisonburg, VA this June. The music for this short intro is from an old folk song Shenandoah it wasn’t written about the valley but captures the essence of this mountainous region known as the Shenandoah valley perfectly. The song I believe was written by a white man to his love an Indian girl named Shenandoah.
