Wow, this wedding was a lot of fun and it shows in the video footage I’m putting together at the moment. One example is how the Burton family hired us to film the rehearsal dinner. We were able to capture some really funny and special moments on film that both families will enjoy watching. While I wouldn’t recommend having video at every rehearsal dinner, if you’re planning a big dinner with several toasts, gift giving and games like the Burton-Burke families did you should definitely have a videographer come out for it! If it’s special for you then it is special for us.

Abby & Mark’s Wedding

This past weekend was a really busy and exciting one for Vibe Productions. We left Indianapolis early Thursday morning to reach Pittsburg, Pennsylvania for Abby & Mark’s wedding Rehearsal..We had a great dinner that evening and were ready to go for the wedding Friday. This was the second time I’ve had the privilege to film in PA for the Stewart family as I’d been there for our friends Emily and Bill’s wedding several years earlier.

Abby’s mother Heidi booked our gold package which allowed us to film with Abby and the wedding party through the entire day, from doing hair and make-up to late night dancing. Being able to capture the entire day like that is really cool and will definitely add to the fun and documentary feel of the video.

The ceremony was outdoors at Stonebridge Farm nursery, a really beautiful outdoor wedding facility. The reception was at the Pittsburgh Marriott North, the atmosphere was class with cocktails in the lounge and an excellent dinner followed by dancing and great times for everyone.

Dan & Heidi’s Michigan Wedding

This past weekend we had the privilege of filming for Dan & Heidi in Cassopolis MI. The wedding was at the grooms parents home out in the country, very private and picturesque. The ceremony was outside near the house and began with a really cool dancing procession! Watch out JK Wedding entrance (on YouTube) this one will be HD!

For the reception there was two large tents set up near each other, one for the open bar and one for dinner which worked great as people drinking could hang out near the bar and be out of the sun. We had a great time with the wedding party and were able to get some amazing video along with the photo team Vibe Photography from Ft. Wayne.

Wedding at St Mary’s College

This past weekend Vibe Productions was hired at short notice to film the wedding of Allison & Greg and we were more than happy to do so. To me it proves its never too late to have your wedding professionally filmed. We encourage any couple like Allison & Greg to check with us for availability even if you only have a day left to do so! I was busy for the day however my friend Abram was able to do the filming making it possible for us to help them.

The ceremony was at the Holy Spirit Chapel in LeMans Hall at St Mary’s College, Notre Dame, IN. This will only be the second wedding we have had the privilege to shoot there as the chapel is private.. it’s a beautiful facility and I look forward to seeing footage from the day. The reception was on St Mary’s campus also at the Noble Family Dining Hall.

Highlights from New Harmony

Over the past few weeks here at Vibe Productions I’ve been working on Matthew & Jordyn Byington’s video. I’ve had some great results and am posting one of my favorite sequences here. The wedding ceremony included a reading the couple chose and it made a great scene to start the video with so this clip is a highlights reel at the beginning of the video not the end.

As a wedding favor the couple provided their guests with a cd of their favorite songs, great idea. We picked various songs from the cd to use with the video making it a bit more individualized. Matt & Jordyn are from here in Indianapolis but we all made the trip down south to New Harmony for the wedding. So the tune really fits the scene.

{Wedding} Sara & Dustin

{The Wedding} Dr. Jide & Abiola

Vibe Productions had the privilege to film the traditional rehearsal and wedding of Abiola and Babajide this past weekend in Carmel, Indiana. We arrived at the rehearsal Friday night with limited directions for what to shoot or expect but were encouraged just to hang tight and see what happens! We did that and had a great time filming a beautiful ceremony rich in tradition and content.

Besides being great fun this event really tested our shooting skills, everything happened fast and we had to hustle to get the best shots.

I’ve included a highlights video from the Rehearsal Friday- we did a same day edit to play at the reception Saturday along with a photo montage we produced. The wedding Saturday was amazing with a beautiful reception at the Oak Hill Mansion near Indianapolis. I’ll post more about the wedding when we get further into the video editing.

Weddings in Carmel and South Bend

Wanted to post a quick update on our progress here at Vibe Productions. We’ve been working on the Kirtley-Byington wedding from May recently and are a good halfway through the post production, with some very nice results so far. We expect to have work done around Wednesday of next week and then we’ll be on to editing the Burton-Burke wedding.

This weekend is a busy one for us. We have a traditional two-day African wedding here in the Indianapolis Carmel area, which we’re excited about filming. And we have videographers filming the wedding of Sara and Dustin in South Bend, Indiana on Saturday.

I’ll post more on these weddings soon.

Tush-Foley Wedding in Bloomington Indiana

This past weekend Vibe Productions had the chance to film freelance for a wedding in Bloomington, Ind. The ceremony was at St. Paul Catholic Center and the reception at the lovely Showers Inn Bed and Breakfast. The Showers Inn is the recently renovated home of the former James D. Showers, founder of the historic Showers Furniture company in Bloomington. Upon arriving at the Inn it was really neat to see the space unfold. You walk in the door on the corner of 9th and North Walnut Street, go out the back, into a large enclosed garden area with the wedding tent in another attached space. None of which you can see from the road. The atmosphere was great and contributing to that atmosphere was a great irish band (the groom was from Ireland) called Ennis Clare. Marc and Kelsy, Wedding in Northern Indiana

A few weeks ago Vibe Productions left Indianapolis and headed up north to film my brother’s wedding. Talk about a great time – the wedding was at my parents home in the country near Syracuse, Ind. which is amazing at that time of the year. The ceremony was in a lawn alongside the long driveway set against my dad’s incredible plantings of flowering rhododendrons. The reception took place up near the house under a large, white tent. It was the perfect place for dinner and dancing to end the evening. I have found at home weddings to be great, always very original and very easygoing.

I want to show some video from the photo part of the day as it really captures the natural vibe we experienced with Marc and Kelsey outdoors. We added film effects and handheld camerawork to this intro to enhance the artistic quality.
